Bug: 'Exotic' font setting in sig carries through to rest of posts in thread

When italics or bold is set (but not closed) in someone's sig, the font setting carries through to all the rest of the posts in that thread.

Can see it in the thread linked below, with italics in 'Little_annie' signature.  Saw it earlier with bold in someone else's signature.  When that person corrected their sig, (I guess they put a 'close bold' tag in the sig), the problem went away for that thread.
