(I don't know what you mean when you say the consistency of baby food)

(I mean it looks like baby food and will feel like baby food in Grace's mouth, and probably tastes like baby food)

(Aah okay!) Grace thought it still tasted like lasagna kind of.  But it still felt liked she was eating baby food though.  However,  She still opened her mouth for another bite.  

[robehouse]

Jimmy smiled and spooned more lasagna into Grace's open mouth. He continued to feed her until the small bowl was empty. Jimmy showed Grace the empty bowl.

"All gone! Baby was hungry tonight, wasn't she? Yes she was!" Jimmy cooed.

Jimmy picked up the bottle and let Grace drink the rest of her milk. 

"How about I give baby a bath after she finishes her bottle and get her dressed for bed? How does that sound, mommy?" Jimmy asked Alexis.

Grace had sauce and baby food around her mouth and chin.  Grace was very full.  She did drink the rest of her milk though. 

"That sounds good.  I'll clean up here. " Alexis said finishing her own food.  "After her bath I'll make a nighttime bottle for her." 

 

[robehouse]

When Grace finished the bottle, Jimmy set it on the table and got Grace out of the highchair and carried her to the bathroom. Jimmy started water running in the tub and held Grace in front of the mirror so she could see her face.

"Who's that messy little baby?" Jimmy cooed, tickling Grace.

"Meeee..."Grace vocaled out as she was tickled,  she giggled loudly and cutely. "Mommy said I'm getting dresses tomorrow." 

[robehouse]

Jim smiled and kissed Grace's cheek where it was clean.  He stopped the water and undressed Grace. He lowered her into the tub. 

"Well if mommy said you're getting dresses tomorrow,  it must be true, right? Mommy doesn't lie, does she? What kind of dresses is mommy getting for the baby?" Jimmy asked. 

Jimmy started washing Grace's face, making sure to get all the baby food off.

(Is Grace wearing diapers to bed instead of pull ups, or do you want her to?)

(She can go to bed in diapers:) ) "Yeah she doesn't lie. I don't know. I heard her saying it earlier.  I hope  there pretty." Grace said. 

[robehouse]

"Well if they are for our baby,  they must be baby dresses, right?" Jimmy said.

Jimmy carefully washed Grace, making sure to get her clean. When he was done, Jimmy rinsed Grace and took her from the tub. He took a towel and rubbed her dry. 

"There's our clean baby. Let's go get her dressed for night-night." 

Jimmy wrapped a towel around Grace and picked her up.

"Yeah.  I can't wait to wear them. " Grace said.  Grace let herself be washed starting to feel sleepy. 

"Okay daddy, I'm sleepy. " Grace agreed. 

[robehouse]

Jimmy carried Grace to the bedroom and laid her in her crib. He went over to the dresser and took a disposable diaper and a nightgown out and brought them back to the crib.

"Okay, time to diaper our baby." Jimmy cooed.

Jimmy unfolded the diaper and lifted Grace's legs, sliding the diaper under her.

Grace didn't argue about the diapers since she had already been wearing pull ups for so long. Grace watched him diaper her. "Oh daddy, paci. " she said. 

[robehouse]

Jimmy sprinkled baby powder on Grace and taped the diaper snugly to Grace. He took the pacifier out of his pocket and slipped it in her mouth. Jimmy stood Grace in her crib and tugged on the diaper to make sure she wouldn't leak if she wet.

Jimmy pulled the nightgown over Grace's head and tugged it down. The nightgown barely covered the diaper. 

"Let's go get your bedtime bottle and say night-night to mommy." Jimmy said, lifting Grace from the crib and carrying her to the kitchen.

Grace automatically started to suckle on her paci as he continued to get her ready for night night time. Alexis was already meeting them halfwayto give them the bottle of warm formula.  

[robehouse]

Jimmy took the bottle from Alexis.

"Thank you mommy." Jimmy said.

Jimmy took the pacifier out of Grace's mouth.

"Give mommy night-night kisses, baby." Jimmy cooed.

Grace gave Alexis a night night kiss. 

"Night night sweetheart. "Alexis crooned rubbing the little girls cheek.  "Be good going to bed for daddy!" Alexis gave her a kiss on the cheek.  

"Okay mommy. " Grace said

[robehouse]

Jimmy put the pacifier back in Grace's mouth and carried her to the bedroom.  He laid Grace down on the big bed and got a book. Jimmy laid down beside Grace and took her pacifier out. Jimmy gave Grace her bottle and cuddled with her on the bed and read to her.

Grace laid there patiently and made little noises when her paci was taken out. But she quieted when she wad given her bottle and it was placed in her mouth. She held it and suckled the warm formula.

Jimmy opened the book and started reading to Grace while he cuddled with her.

Grace followed along but mainly looked at the pictures,  suckling down her milk.  Getting more tired each second that went by.  

[robehouse]

When Jimmy finished the book, he tugged the bottle out of Grace's mouth and quickly replaced it with the pacifier. He stood up and moved Grace over to the crib. He put her blankie next to her as well as her stuffed animal. Jimmy covered Grace with a blanket and kissed her cheek. 

"Night-night baby." Jimmy cooed.

Grace had slowly been falling asleep.  She only whined softly behind the paci as she was moved to her crib.  But quickly quieted down.

Jimmy left the bedroom and came out to where Alexis was. 

"Baby told me you were getting her dresses tomorrow. Are we taking her shopping?" Jimmy asked.

(She already told him that her mom was bringing dresses over for Grace)
