"That's a good idea. Two jars of baby food and a bottle of milk or juice sounds like a filling dinner for our baby. Don't you think so, baby?" Jimmy said.

Jimmy sat down and filled his plate with food.

Grace smiled and nodded.  "Can you fill me a plate while I get food for Grace?" Alexis asked Jimmy. She grabbed two jars of baby food and a baby bottle that was pink and had Winnie the pooh designs on our. She filled it up with milk and heated it up in the microwave.  So she could have warm milk. The babyfoods  she picked were mushed peas and another one was pureed berries.

"Of course." Jimmy filled a plate and put it where Alexis would be sitting. 

"Maybe if baby is still hungry after her baby food we can puree some lasagna. She has a small tummy though, so she'll probably be full." Jimmy said.

[Skylove27]

"Hmm we could do that.  You're right. Let's see how she feels after she eats her yummy baby food. " Alexis took the bottle out of the microwave and screwed the nipple back on.  Then got a long rubber baby spoon. She brought over the baby food and the extra items.  

Alexis opened the peas first. "Alright baby let's try some yummy peas." Alexis cooed. And continued to get a small spoonful.

Jimmy watched as Alexis got ready to feed Grace. 

"That looks yummy, baby. Show daddy and mommy what a good little baby you are and eat your dinner all gone." Jimmy cooed.

[Skylove27]

"K daddy." Grace opened her mouth for the peas. She did like peas so what would the difference be if it was mushed up.  

Alexis put the spoonful in her mouth. "In you go and down the tummy, peas." Alexis cooed.

Jimmy ate his dinner and watched Grace eat. He was happy she wasn't putting up a fuss. He figured she would just be fed baby food from now on for most meals.

"Open wide for the airplane, baby." Jimmy cooed.

Alexis made airplane noises and moved the spoon closer to her mouth. Half the jar was already gone at this point. Alexis was happy Grace was taking this so well. 

Grace accepted another bite of peas.

Jimmy finished his lasagna. He took his plate over to the sink and rinsed it off. He made himself a cup of coffee and sat down to watch Grace finish her dinner.

When he finished,  they were on her second jar.  Grace wasn't feeling full so she hoped once she finished that she could have lasagna. She just wanted to be a good girl and finish the baby food.  

[robehouse]

"Mommy, why don't you let me feed baby and you can eat your dinner before it gets cold?" Jimmy asked.

[Skylove27]

"Alright honey." Alexis passed the baby spoon and jar to him. She turned her away from the baby so she could eat her food while it was still warm.  

[robehouse]

Jimmy turned the high chair towards him and spooned up some berries. He waved the spoon back and forth, making train noises.

"Open up baby. "

Grace opened her mouth with a giggle but ready to have more berries

[robehouse]

Jimmy smiled and kept feeding Grace.

"Are you thirsty,  baby?" Jimmy cooed.

[Skylove27]

Grace nodded she was thirsty after all the mushy food. 

[robehouse]

Jimmy picked up the bottle and held the nipple up to Grace's mouth.

"There you go,  baby." Jimmy cooed.

Grace relaxed and leaned back in her highchair with the nipple in her mouth,  she suckled it drinking the warm milk. 

[robehouse]

Jimmy let Grace drink from her bottle for a couple of minutes, then pulled the nipple out.

"Are you still hungry baby?  Would you like some lasagna?" Jimmy asked.

[Skylove27]

"Hmm can I have lasagna please?" Grace asks happily.  "I'm still hungry. " 

"Yes baby justa small bowl of it." Alexis said. 

[robehouse]

Jimmy measured out a small amount of lasagna and put it in the blender. He pushed puree for a few seconds and then put it in a small bowl. Jimmy started feeding Grace.

Grace looked at it funny.  "Daddy why does the lasagna look like that now?" She asked.  She didn't see he blended it.  

[robehouse]

"Because daddy made it easier for baby to eat. See? It's just like the peas you ate and they tasted good, didn't they?" Jimmy asked.

Jimmy brought the spoonful of lasagna up to Grace's mouth.

"Open wide for the choo-choo baby." Jimmy cooed.

Grace nodded.  Grace opened her mouth for the spooful of lasagna. She hoped she could eat it all.

Jimmy slipped the spoon in Grace's mouth, then watched to see Grace's reaction. The lasagna was the consistency of baby food.

"Does baby like her lasagna?" Jimmy cooed.
