[robehouse]

"Honey, we are just concerned about your health. Would you prefer juice in your sippy cup?" Jimmy asked.

Jimmy cuddled with Grace as the movie started.

"I don't want it in a sippy cup please." Grace says.

[robehouse]

"That may be true or may not. You might accidentally spill it without meaning to, right? It's better to have your drink in a sippy cup than to spill and cause a mess for Alexis or myself to clean up."

Jimmy took the sippy cup and held the spout up to Grace's mouth.

Grace shook her head and turning it away "No.." She whined.

[robehouse]

Jimmy held the sippy cup out to Alexis.

[Skylove27]

"No! I wanna cup please." Grace says whining not wanting a bottle. That sounded ridiculous

[robehouse]

"So you will drink out of the sippy cup then?" Jimmy asked, holding the cup out to Grace.

[Skylove27]

Grace frowned. "Fine. It's better than a bottle." She says. She took the sippy cup.

"That's our good girl." Alexis kissed her head. Then sat next to her and Jimmy

[robehouse]

Jimmy patted Grace on the back.

"Good girl."

Jimmy started the movie again and held Grace against him, cuddling with her.

Grace put the sippy part in her mouth to drink, just to make them happy. About a half hour later she was starting to fall asleep.

[robehouse]

Jimmy smiled as Grace started to fall asleep. He gently pulled her onto his lap and cradled her in his arms. He left the movie on in case turning it off would wake Grace up.

"I'll get her bed ready for her nap." Alexis says quietly to Jimmy. She got up leaving the room.

[robehouse]

Jimmy rocked Grace quietly as if she were a toddler.

"Alright. Let me know when the bed is ready." Jimmy whispered back.

Grace was still half awake but slowly falling asleep.

[robehouse]

Jimmy saw Alexis come back and nodded. He carefully stood up and started towards her room.

[Skylove27]

"I suppose that won't be too bad." Alexis smiled.

[robehouse]

Jimmy took the baby blanket Grace hugged in her sleep and laid it next to her before taking off her sweats and covering her. Once he had her settled he left the room.

[Skylove27]

Alexis left as well.

"So has she taken the binky yet?" Alexis asks Jimmy once they were in the living room

[robehouse]

"I didn't try. I gave her her blankie though. Should I go back and try to put the pacifier in her mouth? I'm afraid I might wake her up though."

[Skylove27]

(I meant the one in the couch. Sorry should've been more specific)

[robehouse]

"No, I didn't give it to her, and she didn't take it. I picked it up and was going to put it in the kitchen when we played Candy Land, but didn't get the opportunity."

Jimmy pulled the pacifier out of his pocket and showed it to Alexis.

"What should we do with it?"

[Skylove27]

"Hmm maybe set it on the TV stand and let her watch TV before bed, and she'll be tempted to take it when we tell her to get ready for bed " Alexis says.

[robehouse]

"That's a good idea. I'll go do that now before I forget."

Jimmy walked over to the tv stand and set the pacifier down in plain sight so Grace would be sure to see it.

"So what are we doing when Grace wakes up from her nap? It should be about time for her to use the potty again, right?"

[Skylove27]

"I believe so. She could use the potty and then I could get lunch started. Maybe you could play with her until lunch is ready. Maybe peek a boo, this little piggy. Stuff like that."

[robehouse]

"Alright, we'll do that then. All we have to do is wait for Grace to wake up."

Jimmy turned on the tv and started watching a show.
