Well, I've been trying to sell my old home for a little while, now. Last night, I had another offer fall through. So money is tight, and my work is seasonal. So here's frustratingly hoping and trying to make things work.

Is there a pattern to the failed closings? And is there something you can do towards rectifying that? If there's an issue with the house you may have to drop the price to compensate if you can't fix it.

In most places the RE market is still tight but it's getting better save for the cities which gave lost their employment bases like Detroit- there's no hope for those folks yet but if the national economy keeps moving forward that will eventually change. I'm living in one of the hottest markets in the nation and wish I had the finances to take advantage of it but at least it's keeping me working!
