Hi, Alan...

Not wanting to make the introduction too lengthy, I somewhat understated what I now regard as the really scary bit. What would life have been like if I had been castrated, especially during the second surgery? Would I have been in diapers for keeps, as well as minus some of my reproductive hardware? If any of our members have personal experience in that regard, I'd be very interested to know their story. Failed orchidopexy is a bit of a hush-hush subject, I reckon. Time that the secrets came out of the closet. What proportion of bilaterally cryptorchid boys were castrated and how many became incontinent for more than just a few days after surgery?
