Gracie didn't see any differences in the package. But she felt a difference. She wondered why but soon that thought would disappear as she always got to distracted to think about.

Joy lifted Gracie and headed downstairs with her, handing her off to Phil when she got downstairs. Phil put her shoes on her while Joy readied the diaper bag. Before long they were in the car and Gracie was in her forward facing car seat, the crotch buckle tight to her thick diaper causing her legs to spread. Joy sat in the backseat with Gracie and pulled out a baby food pouch, banana and avacado.

"Momma, where we going?" Gracie asks confused, forgetting about the shopping trip, when she saw her daddy packing her diaper bag and her momma was taking her took the car.

"It's okay hunky I got it..." Joy moved Gracie's hands as she squeezed the pouch for her. "We are going to get you a brand new crib, remember? " When the first pouch was gone Joy got another out and started Gracie on that. "Is it yummy little bug?" Joy smiled lovingly at Gracie.

Before long they had pulled up to the store's parking lot. It was a store with all types of products for special needs children and adults.

Gracie nodded a little and finished it is off. She started to suckle on the second and drank the mush again. It was kinda good, she did realize how hungry she'd been. And the little girl nodded again when she was about the taste.

The pouch was gone soon after they parked and Phil was getting the stroller ready. As Phil took Gracie from the car seat and put her into the stroller she realized her need to pee.

Gracie decided to try and hold it. Especially if pooping was gonna follow peeing. At least being in a stroller would make it easier to hold her pee. Gracie looked at her dad and the paci, she couldn't decide if she was in the mood for it so she sat there. She made no effort to open her mouth.

"Come on sweetie...daddy got it for you." Phil gently pushed aND it was enough to slide the paci into her mouth. "That's a good girl" He praised her.

The three went into the store together with Joy pushing Gracie. They spent about 5 minutes looking around before finding a section with cribs, many larger than a typical baby crib. "Wow quite a lot here Joy commented." By now the remaining stool softener in her system had combined with her lunch and whatever else was left from before

Gracie let it sit in her mouth, not suckling it yet. She watched her momma and daddy look at the cribs. Just as she was feeling the need to go her daddy wanted to hold her. Could she hold it well enough for the time her daddy to hold her? She thought for a moment before she felt herself being lifted out of the stroller.

When she didn't protest Phil unbundled her and picked her up with a kiss on the cheek. "Okay let's see...what do you think momma, anything you like?" They walked around and came to one that was white and used a twin mattress. It had high sides and looked solidly built.

Gracie looked at the crib curiously. Wondering how on earth did it do that. She wasn't sure if she really wanted it though. She glaced over and saw the saleswoman coming over. Getting shy, she hid her face in her daddy's neck.

Phil knew his daughter was very shy around new people especially. He rubbed her back. "It's okay, daddy won't let you go."

The woman walked up. "Hi there folks, I'm Rita...can i help you with a crib or some other items today?" Joy responded yes. Rita continued. "Great so tell me about your girly there...does she have behavior issues, is she verbal, is she potty trained?" Rita paused.

Phil looked to Joy and spoke up. "Well she behaves pretty well, she's not distructive or anything...just the occasional acting out I suppose. She's verbal but she's pretty quiet and she's in diapers."

With how nervous Gracie was getting, she held on to her daddy and started to suckle on her paci. The woman seemed but she got nervous sometimes when she would get shy around people. Now she was glad she was out of her stroller cause she wouldn't be able to hide her face so easily.

"Hi there." Rita said to Gracie as she peeked her head out. "Well you've certainly got a cutie there. I think the crib your looking at should be perfect. We have some others that fit different needs but this will work just fine for her."

Gracie blushed and hid her face again. She wondered how long the shopping trip would last and if the crib was all they're getting

Joy and Phil settled on the crib, deciding to get it. "I don't know if we need anything else...I don't want to be here all day" Phil said to Joy.

Joy responded. "Well let's at least see..."

The comments made it sound like they would be going pretty soon as Gracie's need to go increased.

It wasn't until they got to the counter where her urine and bowel movements started to release on its own. Gracie's eyes teared up as she made face. Why was she going so much today? She can usually hold it for a long time. This was making her very upset. She started to make little noises around her paci that baby's would make before they start crying loudly.

Phil knew his daughter well and could tell quickly she was getting upset. Also, in holding her he thought he either felt her gas or maybe more. "Hey Joy, we'll be right back okay." He carried Gracie away from the group and spoke softly. "Was that just a gassy or did you go poo poos again?" He wasn't sure she'd answer ...he'd probably have to check her.

Gracie started to cry loudly, and her pacifier fell out. She wasn't going to answer that out loud! It was embarrassing. She finally finished going and she was just too upset. Usually she'd wait until her daddy and momma would check her if she went, but usually that was if she went on her own. This wasn't normal cause it was just coming suddenly and she couldn't hold it for long.

Gracie had been trying to hold it so she could use the potty tonight and she was sure probably wouldn't be able to use the potty. With how much she was going by surprise she wouldn't have to go anymore by potty time. The bouncing made her quiet a little bit she was crying. She kicked her legs downward, as the messy diaper was getting uncomfortable. Gracie nodded at what her daddy said and put her thumb in her mouth.

Phil put her down and undid the shortalls. He let the fall which exposed Gracie's diaper. Phil knelt down and felt that it was somewhat wet, then pulled open the back of her leg to look in. "Yep, you did a messy alright...do you feel okay, I know you don't normally go out of the house like this?" Phil pulled her shortalls back up. "I didn't bring your changing stuff back here, let's go see how momma is doing and we'll go get it." He picked her up.

Gracie eventually calmed down but was still upset. She frowned looking at the mess she made, her thumb still in her mouth. She shook her head at his question, she didn't like pooping in her diapers. Especially when they were out! "Go see mama now?" She after they left the restroom.

"Yep go see momma." Phil carried her back out to the two women who were now looking at some other items.

Gracie looked at the items and saw they were pretty serious about the whole baby thing. She started to squirm a little, the diaper getting cold and uncomfortable. She put a couple more fingers in her mouth, sucking on them gently.
