"And you can, once we return to the table" Chase says soothingly; "I'm sorry about what happened at the table, but daddy makes the rules; we get in trouble if they're broken."

Zoey rolled over so her back was to Chase. "Go 'way." She said through her tears. She knew she was about to have a meltdown, but was doing her best not to.

Olivia shrugged, not understanding why Zoey had to be so dramatic all the time. "I dunno. She was eating the sausage but Chase and I told her daddy said to wait, and she got upset. Then she put it back on the plate after she bit it," Olivia added, wrinkling her nose.

"Oh." Nicole said, realizing that Zoey was upset. She was used to her little sister getting easily upset. She went back to eating her pancakes and grabbed a few sausages, not caring that Zoeys germs might be on them.

Chase gives up when Michael recalls him to the table thinking she'll eat when she's ready; he promptly returns to the table.

After a while, Zoey had calmed down. She dragged her big octopus behind her and crawled into Michael's lap. She was starving at this point, but didn't want to upset anyone.

"Feeling better or close to it?" Michael asks while bringing

Olivia sits quietly, eating only bacon with her pancakes. She's still grossed out by the thought of anyone putting half-eaten food back on a plate and refuses to touch the sausage.

Nicole glanced at Olivia, and with a small, devilish smile grabbed a piece of bacon from her plate. She chuckled and stuck her you get out at her sister, letting her know she was joking around with her.

Michael listens on as Chase explains his pet project and how it can possibly help them all financially which pleases him for some unknown reason

Zoey reached over to take a drink of her milk to wash down the pancakes, but in the process she ended up spilling the cup on her lap, and Michael's lap. "I'm sorry Daddy!" She said immediately. She hadn't meant to spill the milk, but was already nervous about being on her father's bad side. "Was an accident Daddy!"

[Kaidus]

"It's okay honey, these things happen" Michael says soothing Zoey as Chase goes to get some napkins; "See?

[Shy-Diapers]

"Not hungry no more." Zoey mumbled, hiding her face in Michael's chest. She wasn't in a great mood today so far, and just wanted a little extra comfort.

[Kaidus]

"it's okay" Michael says understanding before addressing the others; "Everyone else done?"

Nicole is still finishing up her last pancake when Michael asks.

Zoey tugged her father's shirt, to get his attention. "Daddy, I hafta tinkle." She whispered when he turned his attention to her.

Olivia finished eating and sat waiting for her father; she needed to take her asthma/BPD prescriptions

Zoey sat on the toilet for a minute before finally getting a little stream. She only peed for a little bit, but it was better than nothing. When she felt she was done, she reached for Michael again. "Done Daddy."

(I appreciate it, I just feel bad leaving the two of you hanging when I can't be here)

Once she'd had her medicine and was breathing easier, Olivia grabbed her copy of Charlotte's Web and curled up in a big, overstuffed easy chair in the living room. Being weak and often sickly she didn't enjoy physical activity much and preferred quiet things like reading and art.

(I feel the same way since my work schedules tend to be erratic and the holidays are coming up)

(Sorry was at a wedding over the weekend.)

Zoey went upstairs and into her room, not wanting to wear the pull-up all day. She slipped it off and hid it under her pillow and found a pair of regular underwear and slipped them on before going downstairs to even next to Olivia.

"What are you doing? The whole couch is empty," Olivia said when Zoey squeezed into the chair with her.

Zoey shrugged. "Wanted to be with you." She glanced over at the book and tried to read what it said. "How can you read that sissy?"

Olivia sighed and took a deep breath, trying not to get upset lest she set Zoey off again. This girl just had no concept of personal space, and it drove her up the wall sometimes. "It's easy," she said smugly. Being too sick to do much else, she had learned to read very early and was already several grade levels above her classmates.
