I'll play father & son, though I need to ask only one question: does Chase have any other problems?

Posted

Great! I can be Nicole as well if no one else wants to. Chase doesn't have any specific problems, but if you wish you could have them develop or add them in. My description is just a basic outline. :)

Not a problem; I just needed Chase's needs cleared since I only want his incontinence to be his only burden.

(Okie dokie. I'll start and if someone comes along they can play Nicole. I notice now that everyone but Olivia is a character from one of my childhood TV shows lol. )

Zoey went down to the kitchen sniffling and crying in her soaked pajamas. She'd been wetting the bed almost every night for the past week. She tugged her fathers pant leg as he was cooking breakfast. "PaPa?"

Nicole woke up and managed to sit herself up in bed. Looking around she couldn't see anyone in the hallway, so she started calling for her brother or father needing help to get out of bed and into her wheelchair and downstairs. "Dad?! Chase?!"

(I'm sorry! I didn't see your post. Yes, a description would be great!)

Michael looks down to see who's tugging his pant leg seeing Zoe in tears;

Zoey continued sniffling and crying into Michaels arms as he carried her. "I'm sorry PaPa. I didn't mean to." Zoey knew that everyone always told her that it wasn't her fault, but she couldn't help feeling bad when she wet the bed or her pants.

"It's no problem" Michael says while heading to her room where he removes the bedding from Zoe's bed and stuffs them down the laundry chute for washing before tending to Zoe herself.

Eight-year-old Oliva coughed hard as she woke up, bringing up a rather large amount of sticky, yellowish mucous. The girl had been born at just 25 weeks gestation to a 15-year-old mother, and the premature birth had left her with asthma and bronchopulmonary dysplasia. The disorders left the girl susceptible to respiratory infections, and something as simple as the common cold could quickly turn to pneumonia and put her in the hospital. In addition her immune system was weak in general, and any time someone in the family came down with an illness, she was almost certain to catch it as well. She also suffered from a number of developmental delays, mostly physical, though by this point - with a lot of PT and OT in her early years - she'd overcome most of them. One lingering problem was with bladder control. By now her accidents were infrequent enough that she was allowed to wear regular underwear during the day - though Michael never took her anywhere without a change of clothes, just in case - but she was never dry at night.

Olivia brushed her fine, strawberry blond hair out of her face and put on her glasses - the high concentration of oxygen she'd received in the NICU had caused vision problems - before getting out of bed. She walked down the hall peeking in every room until she found her father. "Daddy, can you help me when you're done?" she asked in a small voice, sounding a bit wheezy, her saturated night diaper sagging below the hem of her babydoll nightie.

Michael turns away from Zoe for a moment to hear what Olivia has to say and smiles;

Zoey had stopped crying by now but was still trying to catch her breath after her near meltdown. Michael and everyone always had to be careful not to upset her too much or she might have a full blown meltdown which never ended well for anyone. She wiped her eyes on her sleeve and then wiped the remaining snot away. When Michael was done getting her cleaned up, she put on a pair of overalls and a yellow tshirt. "PaPa

"There we go, all done" Michael announces to Zoe; "I also put a cover on your mattress just in case.

Olivia nodded and went to look for her brother. "Chase, daddy wants you to start the laundry if you're not busy," she said quietly when she located

"Thanks Livie" Chase says with as good a smile as he can manage; "As soon as Nikki's settled, I'll get to it."

Zoey frowned and tried not to cry when she knows she's not going to get out of wearing a pull-up. She just hopes that no one notices. She was too young to understand Nicole's and Chase's incontinence and didn't really realize that they wore diapers. She just thought that needing them meant you were a baby. She hugged her father tight and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry about the pull-up honey" Michael says sympathetically; "Just remember, the potty's still available for you to use; the pull-up is only just in case."

After informing Chase of his duties, Olivia had returned to her room to wait for her father. When it seemed he had forgotten about her she went searching for him, finding him in the kitchen with Zoey. "Um, daddy..." she said

Nicole blushed a little when her brother mentioned helping her. "If Dad says it's ok." She said knowing Michale preferred to change her himself since Chase and Nicole were so close in age.

"Morning Zoe" Chase says before looking back at Nicole; "Good idea."

"I know you haven't, but I don't want to take any chances" Michael says while wiping Olivia clean and getting the inner part of her girly-girl in the process; "Regarding it though, I want to know first and foremost that the toilet is completely unrestricted; it's only just in case."

Olivia was confused, as she'd been wearing her big-girl panties for over a year now, but knew better than to question her father. With a dejected sigh she took the pull up from him and slid it on before going to her closet to select her clothes for the day.

Michael knows she's already frustrated enough about having to wear a pull-up despite being accident free for a while, but doesn't make things harder;

"Daddy will be getting breakfast ready" he says after cleaning up on his way out to the kitchen.
