have i been underestimating how i felt?

Ive never told anybody this, but for a little bit i actually felt like i did want to kill myself (this was when i was still fairly new to the job, but i had been doing up to 15 hour days on and off for months, about half on and half off) because the factory where i work made me feel like i was trapped in the middle of a super stressful situation i wanted to get out of.
