Feeling Left Out (Open RP)

[Shy-Diapers]

"Morning honey." Mark said rubbing Larks back. "Did you sleep well?"

Lark nodded; she'd slept nearly 15 hours straight without waking once. "I'm hungry," she said quietly, not moving from Mark's lap.

"Okay honey, you want some eggs?" Mark asked her. He picked her up and got her a plate of food and sat back down.

Lark ate her eggs and asked for some juice.

Mark obliged and gave Lark some apple juice.

Around 11 or so, Amiya started to wake up again. She was wet, as usual, but her nausea was better.

Lydia waited impatiently for Lark to finish. "Dada, pwaygwound now!" she demanded as soon as her sister was done.

Natalie smiled at Amiya when she saw the girl waking up. "Feeling any better?"

[Shy-Diapers]

"Lydia why don't you go be Daddy's special helper and get the diaper bag and some toys for you and your sisters. Do you want to bring your buckets and shovels?" Mark asked. He knew the toddler couldn't resist being a 'special helper'. He carried Lark upstairs and got her changed and let her get dressed.

Lydia pulled the diaper bag off the kitchen counter where Mark had left it the night before and dragged it to the play room where she proceeded to stuff it with an assortment of books, stuffed animals, and a few Mega Blocks, then sat proudly at the bottom of the stairs to show her father what a good job she did.

"I don't wanna go to the playground," Lark whined as she allowed Mark to undress her. "Can't we just stay home and watch a movie?"

"I'm sorry baby, but you guys have been cooped up for way too long. How about if you still don't want to play after we get there you can watch a movie on the player, okay?" Mark asked. Once she answered, they went downstairs and he saw Lydia. "Good girl!" He praised.

"Okay, go now," Lydia ordered as she dragged the jam-packed bag to the door. Lark just sighed, knowing arguing was useless.

"We need to get you dressed munchkin." Mark said he grabbed the baby as well and put her in a green onesie and denim shorts. He put Lydia in some bright blue overalls with a white shirt underneath. Afterwards he got everyone in the car and drove off.

Lydia shrieked with delight when she saw the playground. Aria, startled by the sudden scream, began to cry. Lark just sighed and covered her ears to block out the noise.

"Lydia can you give Aria her teether?" Mark asked. He knew the little frozen toy would calm her down while he parked. "It's in the pouch by her car seat."

After a bit of a struggle Lydia managed to snag the teether and shoved it in Aria's face. "Ah-wee, hush!" she scolded as she pressed a finger to her lips and shushed the baby.

"Be gentle sweetie." Mark cooed. He hoped that the toy would occupy Aria. After some more driving, they were parked and Mark was getting them out of the car.

Lydia let go of the toy and leaned back in her seat. Once she was out of Aria's face the baby calmed down and started chewing on the teething ring.
