Came across this today. Wonder if the child straps fit adults.

There's a picture of an adult sitting in it, but they aren't wearing the child restraint. Maybe the child restraint can't take adult weight?

Site says that they are rated for 80lbs and up to 12 years old, though it doesn't seem right since the average 12 year old supposedly weighs 92lbs. Thinking it has more to do with the way the harness adjusts for height. Too much weight in a crash probably will yank the clips out.

It's likely that 80 lbs is the weight at which only a negligible percentage of units are expected to fail.

I use to ride a transit buss to school that had 3 seats like this in the front of the buss, I have no idea of the brand but they look vary much the same.

Anyway, I put one on one time on a ride form one town to another, as haveing you back on the buckels is a bit painful, and it fit me fairly well, tho i did get a few stares for others.
