i am more likely to have a conversation here on a message board, and only take it to private messages if it really becomes necessary. e-mail seems a bit sneaky and stalkerish when i'm already on the forum.

it's almost like a forum conversation is happening at one table in a large room, so anyone can hear if they want to. private messaging is like when you and someone else step out in the hallway; you're still in the same place but nobody else (except those who review the security tapes) can hear you. e-mail is like asking someone to hop in your car - it's the most private but it's a different place.

so please don't worry if nobody has e-mailed you. i notice that you're 18 and joined three months ago. welcome! your other posts are really solid, though i'd recommend you introduce yourself sometime ;-) you'll make plenty of friends after a while if you are easy to read and you let people get to know you.
