Tony: You can learn how to set the table. Since that's what girls do.

He says as he places the plates on the table.

Tony: Everybody gets one fork one spoon and mommy and i get one fork each.

He says as jason stares at the TV not understanding why his father loved this so much.

After Tony sets the plates out Effie puts a napkin in each spot, then the silverware. "Is that good, daddy?"

Tony: Yes sit is princess.

He says with a pat to her head.

Tony: See there are things that boys do...

Gesturing towards Jason

Tony: and there are things girls do.

He says gesturing towards the table.

"Well why can't brudder set the table? I don't wanna do it all the time!"

Tony: You won't have to do it /all/ the time, but it's just more of a girl's chore.

He says patting her head and scooping her up.

Tony: Just like when Jason gets older he'll have to take out the trash, because that's more of a boy's chore.

"Yeah, he can do that 'cause trash is icky," Effie said, wrinkling her freckled little nose.

Tony: Im glad at least /you/ agree. Since your mommy and Jason sure don't.

He says looking at his wife accusingly.

"Are you still going on about him wanting to be a princess? Would you just give it a rest already? He's five! He's a little kid. He doesn't need to worry about being a 'man' yet."

Tony: Yes he does. He needs to learn that there are boy things and girl things. It's not just him, I want little Effie here to know that too.

He says harshly wondering why the hell his wife is going to let their son grow up to be some freak.

"Why do you want your little girl to grow up with that frame of mind? This is the 21st century, she should grow up thinking she can do anything she wants. What would you do if she decided she wanted to play football?"

[Shy-Diapers]

Tony: sweety why don't you and your brother go play in the playroom okay?

He asks patting her bottom

Tony: She can do anything she wants to, as long as it's a girl thing. If she wanted to play football I would tell her that it's not for girls and that there are other things she could do that won't get her hurt, like ballet. Do you really want Jasom to grow up and be some sort of freak Show?

"Honey, Jason could get hurt playing football just as easily as she could. And he's not going to be a freak show!"

Tony: No Effie is more likely to. It's a known fact, boys are physically stronger than girls. Everybody knows that. And jason /will/ grow up to be some fag if you let him act this way.

"So what if he's gay? That doesn't make him a freak show!"

[Shy-Diapers]

Tony: Yes it does! Gays are freaks and pervs I don't want that for my son. I reduse to let him grow up to be some kind of pedophile!

He says angrily

"Being gay does not make someone a pedophile!"

Tony: Im done arguing with you about this. He's your son if you want him to grow up to be one of those queers then by all means ket him! He's no son of mine if he does.

He says storming out of the house.

"Mommy, where did daddy go?" Effie asked in a worried voice when Tony left.

Jason comes into the kitchen and doesn't see his father.

Jason: Wheres daddy?

He asks sitting at the table

"Daddy had to go somewhere. He'll be back later," Alison said, putting a slice of meatloaf, some mashed potatoes, and peas on everyone's plate.

I start eating my dinner quietly.

Jason: Mommy, can we watch a movie before bedtime?

[justagirl4fun]

"Sure, buddy." When they were done eating Alison started clearing the table. "Effie, go get your pajamas on and Jason you can pick a movie while she's doing that. Let me know when you're ready."

Jason: Mommy can we watch this one?

I ask holding up a my little pony movie

"Um, sure," Alison said nervously, hoping her husband wouldn't come home while they were watching it.

Jason: Mommy, can you help me into my pull-up before we start the movie in case I fall asleep

He asks putting the movie in the DVD player
