Baby in the Office

I continue to cry until I've run out of tears and am fast asleep still maintaining my death grip onto my daddy. Still in pain and upset at daddy for not trying to help her but only getting mad at her for being sick.

Brian is not at all mad for Elizabeth getting sick. He knows she is trying so hard to help and wanting him to be able to be with her more, but being only five years old has limited understanding. And being a parent doesn't guarantee that we can fix anything and everything.

[Shy-Diapers]

(I had a death grip on you did up you pry me off or something?)

(no, you are in my arms even though my goal was to try to not have you up there at this immediate time)

(Okay got confused there for a minute)

I continue to sleep not letting go of daddy anytime soon until I start kicking and crying in my sleep having a nightmare

Elizabeth: NO! NO! NO!

I cry in my sleep

"What is wrong, Elizabeth," I say as you come to out of your bad dream

[Shy-Diapers]

Elizabeth: daddy! Woo hewe!

I sniffle and burry my head in your chest

Elizabeth: you got mad at me and then you started spanking me and then you left me all alone and didnt come back just like mommy!

I say starting to cry agian and then accidentally throwing up on your chest not realizing i even needed to throw up again

[daddybrian]

"I may get mad sometimes, and I may have to spank as you get older, but I wouldn't leave you like mommy did," I say. I groan as fresh puke is all over my bathrobe and your clothes. More items to wash. Brian

Elizabeth: im sorry daddy it was an accident

I say when I hear you groan thinking you're mad at me for getting sick again.

[daddybrian]

Brian isn't mad when he groans, he is just thinking of all the extra time doing laundry instead of working or being with Elizabeth the way he knows she wants to be with him.

[Shy-Diapers]

Elizabeth: daddy i sowwy i no mean to get sick daddy i sowwwy

[daddybrian]

"I know you are, Elizabeth. No one ever plans or wants to get sick, it just happens though. And when you do get sick, its no fun at all."

[Shy-Diapers]

Elizabeth: woo wight it no fun

I start yawning being emotionally drained and in desperate need of some daddy-elizabeth cuddle time

Elizabeth: Daddy? We cuddle in woo bed an watch movie pwease daddy? Pwease?

[daddybrian]

"Cuddle: yes. Movie: yes. In my bed: no. We can watch more of the Little Mermaid that wasn't finished yesterday. Or choose another movie."

[Shy-Diapers]

At this point I'm an emotional wreck and the slightest thing could set me off

Elizabeth: b-b-b-

I start crying wanting to relax and cuddle with daddy while watching a movie in his bed

Brian sits down on the sofa and uses the remote control to turn on the tv and dvd player. The movie starts where I stopped it yesterday, but I rewind it a little so to give a short notice on which scenes are coming up. Feels you curl up

Elizabeth: daddy I feel icky again

I say sitting up after cuddling with you for a while. Hoping you understand what I mean.

[daddybrian]

"That is just something that happens as a part of being sick, Elizabeth. I am sure you will be much better in a day or two." Brian hopes that she does not mean feeling like about to puke again.

[Shy-Diapers]

Elizabeth: No Daddy! I fee-

I throw up again this time on the carpet trying to avoid throwing up on Daddy. I start whimpering again.

[daddybrian]

Brian cringes as Elizabeth pukes again, this time on the carpet. At least it was a cheap rug, one he wouldn't feel bad about throwing away after a while or put through a commercial washing machine.

[Shy-Diapers]

Elizaeth: i sowy daddy! I no mean to!

I start crying again but I'm trying to calm down but it's hard.

Elizabeth: Daddy I need woo

I start crying even harder into your chest

[daddybrian]

Brian carries Elizabeth to the bathroom to clean her face again, and goes to the medicine cabinet. He suddenly remembered his ex-wife used to have a bottle of chamomile tablets. Searching through the collection of pills, Brian finally finds the bottle and has Elizabeth take two of the powdery pills. (they just melt on your tongue)

Elizabeth: daddy it hurts make it stop!

I continue to sob into your chest gripping on very hard to your arms with my tiny hands

Elizabeth: daddy those yucky.

I cringe over in pain

Elizabeth: daddy! Make it stop daddy pwease!

I cry even harder than I was before

[daddybrian]

Seats you onto the little toilet seat again wit the small trash can next to you, while I go to the kitchen to get the folder that has all the medical contact information in it, knowing I will likely have to take you to the hospital.

I continue to sob on my potty seat until I explode from both ends again then sob even harder afterwards.

Elizabeth: Make it stop! Daddy pwease make it stop! It hurts!
