Momdad22
Hi guys, I have been a lurker fo a while but finally cant take the solitude. For years I have struggled with DL feelings and have always wanted to just talk to someone. Sometimes I feel like I dont know what to do and have come so close to talking with someone but chicken out for fear of the situation turning into what transpires in "Clear History?". I want to tell a friend who has been a friend for years and who has helped me through so much. Its to the point that we joke about being sibling. I really do want to talk to someone, and not someone online. Does anyone have any help with where to start? I do fear I will just screw up and lose them. I trust them so much and know she is a very accepting person, just dont know where to start. Any comments are appreciated. Thank you in advance, Momdad22 Link to comment
WakkoWannaBe
I'm pretty much always an advocate of not saying something. Imagine that you're on the recieving end of that piece of info - that your friend told you that they liked diapers (and you weren't into them). What would your reaction be? Personally, mine would be "okay. Sooo - what do I do with this piece of information?" Link to comment
Bettypooh
I first came out as TG to my best friend of almost 20 years- i knew I'd get an honest response with nothing held back whichever way it went I progressed to others from there since the change in my life was going to be kind of obvious But this does not have to be obvious, nor does anyone else have to know about it unless you want them to. Many (probably most) of us basically 'fly under the radar' with few if any knowing about this part of our life in RL It's just easier this way. Link to comment
AwakenEvil
I don't see any reason to come out of the diaper closet with any friends. Girlfriends, Boyfriends, Husbands, and Wives is a must. Those that don't we always seem to find either a lacking sad relationship or cheating on their SO looking for play partners. 1 Link to comment
Momdad22
It just bothers me so much and gets so confusing and weighty. With this, school and other stresses, I just wish I could forget everything. But that can't happen as all of you know. I dont want to tell her to try and absorb her into a fantasy or a role that is forced, I just want someone to talk to. Yay adult stresses... Thanks for your opinions and advice so far, wasnt really considering everything that all ofyou proposed when I was thinking about telling her. How do you guys cope with your feelings and stresses? I just don't know how to deal with it. Momdad22 Link to comment
WakkoWannaBe
I understand wanting to tell someone. Even if it doesn't change the way you behave you can still act like "you." It's nice to have someone that you can be that intimate with, who cares about you because you're you- even if you're not romantically involved. You said that you're not wanting to absorb her into some RP role (sexually or otherwise) and I must admit that I was concerned that that might be your motivation for telling her. Link to comment
