Im guessing balloon dilation is not dissimilar to urinary catheterisation without the catheter side of things... not sure what the UTI risk would be... i'll do some reseach!

Agreed. A 15% likelihood of an ER visit is high. I wasn't able to locate a how-to manual yet.

When someone has a written a proper tutorial, with the right kit to do it, I'd like to know.

I have a feeling that getting the balloon exactly at the prostate to dilate it would be difficult.
