Burp_Cup
As far back as I can remember, I have enjoyed making little sharp corners from bed sheets or pillowcases and using them to scratch / stimulate my fingers and hands. I'll elaborate: I take a small patch of tightly woven cotton approximately 4 - 6 inches and fold it into a little triangle shape and use the apex / point (whatever) to scratch with. May sound a bit goofy, but I find it quite relaxing and LOVE it! Link to comment

guitar_a_goo_goo_ga
First I'm a single guy in his mid twenties so I don't fold bed sheets. Ever. If I have an itch on my back that I can't reach I'll use my bowie knife, a masonry wall or a tree to relieve it because I'm a man and I like things dangerous and stupid. Link to comment

Yvhuce
Unless you have an itch, scratching yourself is weird. If you've got an itch, though, then all's fair. I use a small crowbar or a sheathed machete to get the itches on my back. If I have a persistent itch somewhere, I'll try applying itch cream or topical anesthetic to it. That usually works WAY better than constantly scratching the area. Scratching too much can make the area raw and introduce infections, too. Link to comment
