~ Removed the un-needed personal info (address, occupation etc.)

~ Added AB/DL Specific fields allowing you to categorize yourself as a baby or parent.

~ Updated search directory to allow you to search by state/country without going from directory to directory.

~ Removed as many male ads as I could find from the female categories

At this point, I'm totally convinced that the ads, as they are, are not working as intended.

As an experiment, I placed an ad in the "Men seeking Women" section. I expected few if any replies based on my lack of explicit intentions and utter verbosity. The only reply I got was from a guy (same guy 3 times). Why? I don't know. Why would a guy look in the "Men seeking Women" section in the first place?

I really should not be surprised, should I.

I think Douglass Adams once said something about how if you make something idiot proof, they'll just make better idiots.

AB/DLs are a VERY small minority of the population. With so few, it should hardly be expected that people won't browse through and message people in the wrong sections of the personals. If you exect a "new version" to change this, no matter how "hand coded" it is, you are a fool.

I say this as a web programmer of many years experience, and a human being of many, many more.

Hello all. im a daddy from the chicago area. i would like to say that diapermates is a great site and i have found success using the site. i met a wonderful babygirl that lives only minutes from my house! i was shocked to find a post by a babygirl months ago that lived in the same suburb of chicago that i lived in. talk about the needle in the haystack! we hit it off right from the start. she is a lifestyle baby who really needs her diapers and the care of a daddy/sitter. we both love disposables and plastic pants. we both discovered our baby/daddy sides around the same time in our life. we share a lot of common interests other than ab/dl. we see each other as much as possible. i have taken her out to chuck e cheese and the zoo.

TO ALL THE DUDES OUT THERE, DO NOT GIVE UP LOOKING. there are more ab/dl ladies out there than most may think. good luck to all of you still looking and thank you to dailydiapers for the help you give to the ab/dl community.

You know what would be great? Rating the ads as appropriate or inappropriate. Then we could force the offenders without regard for others out of the improper spaces. Probably hard to do but it would certainly be one way to stop the insanity.
