Cute Diaper Covers

Recommended Posts

I have a friend who made me some dipaer covers and I had to share a couple of pictures. I have looked so long and hard for a good 'realistic' diaper cover that I couldn't believe it when I got them. She worked with me on the size and I got a diaper cover that actual works, fits, and is comfortable. The are made of PUL and have an absorbant liner. They come in snap or Pull-ons and can be worn with absoeband pads, folded diapers, or over disposables. She puts a pocket in them and made me some pads to fit in them, although I use thick soakers from Adult Cloth Diapers worn inside the diaper cover. They could be worn as day time diapers without a soaker or pad. They have gusset sewn in the liner material. Another key feature is that they are really cute and colorful.

If you are interested in more pictures or contacting her, email me.

Are those covers or diapers?

They seem more like all in ones, with insertable stuffer rather then a built-in absorbent layer. I must say they are interesting, whatever they are.

They are versatile. The inner layer is an absorbant soft velour feeling material. It is a thick single layer and can handle small amounts. This material is sewn into a gusset, which serves to hold diapers or pads in place, and helps prevent leaks. You can insert pads, in the pocket for an all-in-one type diaper, or use them over diapers or soaker pads as a cover (as I do). They can cover disposables, cloth, or say, Babykins or DPF velcro diapers with soaker pads. They work however you want them.
