Magnesium Citrate

Recommended Posts

Just take a few sips. It's much more effective than glycerine though, so remember to wear a diaper, you'll need it. Also, remember to drink LOTS of water! We don't want you dehydrated, now do we? :)

Magnesium Citrate reverses the osmositic process of the lower bowels, and causes the the lower bowels to fill with water extracted from the bloodstream. As a result, one will easily become very dehydrated, can suffer headaches and similar effects to that of a hang-over. It is strongly suggested that you avoid this as a laxative as it will strip the body of vital nutrients. Yes, you will need to poop, and will do so with little or no control, but the side effects can be fatal.

It is normally prescribed to empty the digestive system completely, administered in the care of a hospital, with at least 16 - 20 floz of water, and about an hour before surgery. This causes both the blood pressure to drop slightly, and allows the patient to be more stable under anesthesia. Also, since the digestive system is completely empty, it reduces the blood flow to the stomach, and also reduces the possibility of spillage from the digestive tract into the internal body cavities. With an empty stomach, the paitent is less likely to react (vomit) to specific medication.

Fish oil capsules either ingested or anally inserted also work as laxatives, and are less dangerous. Since the prime purpose of laxitives is to empty the bowels, they all try in one way or another to defeate the procedure of fluid reabsorbtion by the lower bowels. Since this fluid is excreted with the rest of the bowel contents instead of being reabsorbed, it can be caustic to the skin, and cause extreme diaper rash. It is a more safer option to cause the bowels to fill, and empty naturally, or increase the speed of the digestive transit by injesting certain foods. Such foods that increase digestive transit is

milk when eaten with fiber (milk fats bond to fiber and pass rapidly to the bowels to be excreted)

Fish - natural oils in fish reduce the ability of the anal sphincter to work.

High fiber / bran food - especially when combined with milk or non sugar/artificial sweetener liquid.

High chlorophyll foods - green vegetables etc.

Increased water content - tends to rush smaller / broken food morsels of food out of the stomach, leaving the stomach only to deal with the larger complex portions.

The best way to increase the speed of the digestive tract, and therefore to act as a natural laxative, is to add 8-16 floz of water into a blender, and blend your complete meal into soup / liquid before consuming it.
