willnotwill
OK, over their clothes, but still http://www.purcellregister.com/articles/2010/05/20/news/doc4bf44f4f8ff5d197529429.txt Link to comment
Sophie ♥
How collecting diapers helps anti-bullying is a bit beyond me... But the teacher's wearing diapers seems like good motivation. I don't know. Odd story. Interesting though. -Sophie Link to comment
Little Matt
The anti-bullying campaign came first and inspired the second set of girls to do their own project which was a diaper drive. Link to comment
JDL23
How collecting diapers helps anti-bullying is a bit beyond me... -Sophie That was my first reaction, too. It just seemed a bit strange to run the two stories together like that, especially when the picture is of teachers wearing diapers. But both causes are good in the end. Link to comment
Sophie ♥
I suppose. And can I now ask what the point of a diaper drive is?? I assume I'm not getting any of them... -Sophie Link to comment

AutieAB
And can I now ask what the point of a diaper drive is?? I assume I'm not getting any of them... I can answer this. My wife works for the health dept and they regularly receive large (sometimes *very* large) donations of baby diapers to give to needy/poor families. If the health dept has a surplus, they give them to the local food bank who also run a similar programme. I presume that's where the diapers they were collecting ended up. Link to comment
Sophie ♥
I suppose that makes sense. I just thought it was a big jump from "Helping Haiti" to "Diaper Drive". I was wondering if there was a correlation. -Sophie Link to comment
