curiositykilledthecat
From your list I can say chumbawumba works for me. I don't know exactly what songs, aside from bananaphone and a few other kid songs. Another one would be the theme song from Never Ending Story. Link to comment
Sophie ♥
Honestly I've thought about this a lot. My #1 Little song is probably Charmed Life by Leigh Nash. It's from Uptown Girls. "Crayola skies for a thousand miles..." Other than that, not to say necessarily for my Little side... But I feel like The Middle by Jimmy Eat World was written specifically for me. But it does have that line: "Little girl you're in the middle of the ride". It makes me think I'm my Little self, already in the middle of the ride of life... Already moving along to do great things. I'm also terribly self-conscious so the song means a lot to me. -Sophie Link to comment
Sophie ♥
Oh. Time Turned Fragile by Motion City Soundtrack if anyone wants to give that one a listen. "Do you still believe in the stories told To you by my friends and I when you were four years old." -Sophie Link to comment
Codymoogle
Here's some of mine! In no particular order: Filter - Take A Picture - Thanks, toon - never knew the name of this one Rob Thomas - Little Wonders - I agree with toon on this one. Snuffle Bunny Song - This one's just cute, perhaps sickeningly so. Assemblage 23 - Lullaby - This one's a bit sad, but it's comforting somehow. The Oreo Song - C'mon, this one's just bouncy! Hippopotamus Rock! - Who remembers this one?! Ahhhh I love it! I remember getting frustrated at my walkman cause there was no rewind on it when I was bopping along to this. Sanctuary (Kingdom Hearts II) - I don't remember offhand who wrote/sang it, and I'm not sure why it's comforting, but it is. Billy Joel - Lullaby (Goodnight, My Angel) - Just listen, you'll understand why it's part of my list Michael Learns To Rock - Sleeping Child - This one made me smile since the first time I heard it. It's one of my favorite lullabies. Savage Garden - Animal Song Savage Garden - Affirmation - Please, no flame wars over this one...If you don't like it, you can always click the little "X" in the top right hand corner. Most Disney songs, including but not limited to: A Whole New World (Aladdin) Never Had A Friend Like me (Aladdin) Never Say Never (An American Tail) Somewhere Out There (An American Tail) Once Upon A December (Anastasia) - I'm not sure if this is a Disney movie, though... Just Keep Swimming (Finding Nemo) There are more songs (a LOT more) but I'll post those at another time. ~ moogle 1 Link to comment
