does urine kill sperm, I ask this as i do dribble pee during sex, and wounder do i need to have a doctor take my sprem and put it into my wife.

today we found out she can have kids, after two yrs of her thinking she could never have kids. after witch her last doctor told her. today we meet with a new doctor and she said i dont see why you cant have kids. her eggs are healthy. so i now have to go and have my swimmers checked out. and im afriad that if urine kills sperm im the reason my wife cant have kids.

I hope to ease my mind with some info from others out there with my same problem. like to know if you were able to have kids.

Yes, urine does kill sperm. Since cumming is reducing the acidity of urine, it is safe to say that urine reduces the sperm cells... FYI, this was easily snapped by googling it.

funny thing to say i never used google. but thank you. im going to have to get my sperm count checked then. and see what we need to do in order to have a child.

i hope so too. i love kids, i have two nephews that are the world to me. and everytime i see them i say to my self i cant wait to hold my own little baby girl or boy. witch ever comes first. lol and feel the pain of being deeper in debt, but enjoying every moment watching my little one grow up. my sister tells me she would trade anything in the world for her two boys. they are the best thing she could ever have in life. everytime me and my wife are out and we see little kids running around. we look at each other and smile and say one day. till then im prying it happens and when it does ill be turning the page in my book of life.

Yea, I cant wait to have kids too. Every time I'm around kids it reminds me of being a youthful and happy child and I cant wait to share experience with my kids. I'm planning on having kids one day hopefully soon and cheers to us both having kids soon

well good news, and bad, the bad first my swimmers are not that strong. but the good news is our doctor said she can take my swimmers and give them a fighting chance by taking them and putting them closer to the egg. My swimmers die from being mixed with some pee thats still in my penis before and during sex.

so we are hoping by this fall to be in the making of a new baby.

Wouldn't it help to self-cath right before sex to completely empty your bladder and urethra of urine?

yeah it could help. ill talk to the doctor about that. self cath, i dont even like it when the doctor does it for testing. im not sure i could do it to my self.

also cathing my self would turn off the mood for sex for me. as when we do have sex its a spring of the moment. not plained really. but anything is worth a try.

When you have an erection, it should cut down on the urine flow unless you have prostate issues. I am in a similar situation where can leak at any time. My Doc gave me a script for Viagra and it worked very well - too well. (That was when I needed the emergency cath.) But the viagra allowed me to have a much firmer erection and my prostate held very well even though bladder spasms. That can be very painful.

While urine does kill sperm, it isn't instant and just a little shouldn't be a problem since seminal fluid is thicker and clings to the walls of the vagina and opening of the cervix. Any urine introducted during sex should run out and not cause much problems. Our fertility doctor suggest my wife be on top or we do it in a sitting posistion with her in my lap to allow urine to leak out as needed.

Of course we haven't concieved yet so I'm not sure how reliable it is anymore.
