Diapers And Anime, Scifi, Etc.

Anyone notice in like anime and scifi where people are in shuttles/fighers/mobile suits for long periods of time, they never stop to use the bathroom?

For example, in Gundam 00, one episode, the piolets spend over 15 hours in their suits without stopping. To quote: "They will not even let up enough for us to eat."

Even though they are never addressed, you know they are wearing...

Anyone else notice this?

in most shows they do not show people using the bathroom, unless it is for some sort of amusing moment....

watch most movies, the never go to the bathroom.. occasionally it will show a man taking a wizz against some tree or something.. but for hte most part things of that nature are left out of movies/tv etc....

samein books, often it is not included... usually because most people dont really want to know about the character's bathroom habbits... or the other mundane things people do during the day.

imagine harry potter if it included every single meal, every bathroom break, ever tme they took a shower or put their shoes on.. its just unnecessary stuff... and except for the rare moment, people dont think about the characters not having used the bathroom, and when they do its just said in a joking way, but doesn't really take away from a show or movie.

Sort of a combination of cartoon physics and rule of cool. Also, often it falls under "editied for time/content". When they switch to showing the villain plotting against the heroes, the heroes take their bathroom breaks. Or basically whenever someone's not onscreen for a couple of minutes.

im not saying that they need to show everything. just saying that some shows create situations where you know there are no available restrooms.

THe brady's didn't need a bathroom, they were all about rainbows and smiles and singing, they didn't have time for a bathroom, that would be a "problem" and they probably couldn't figure it out. lol

as for anime in diapers, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those people in costumes wore diapers, they can get pretty elaberate
