Chloe Reynolds and Mia Young arrived at college together. They were best friends and were looking forward to their first year at college. They enjoyed playing pranks on other girls, especially those they thought were weaker than them. Chloe and Mia went to the office and got their schedules and room assignment. They had filled out their class preferences so they already knew what they were taking. They were both going to major in computers. After they left the office they headed over to the dorm. It took them a couple of minutes to find their room, then they opened the door and went inside. There was bunk beds against one wall and a single bed against another. "Which bed do you want?" Chloe asked. "I don't care. It looks like we have another roommate. Why don't we take the bunk beds and leave the single bed for her, whoever she is? I'll go pull the car around so we can unload it and start putting things away?" Mia said. After Mia pulled the car closer to the dorms, they spent the next several hours getting the dorm room set up.

After Valeria's parents died she was brought to Annapolis Children's home. Mrs. Carson, the head of the home, was there when they brought Valeria in. She didn't have any other information other than her name was Valeria. Valeria was small so Mrs. Carson decided to put her in the toddler and baby wing. She called for Mrs. Landers, the head of the nursery, to come get Valeria. When she arrived at the office Mrs. Carson told her about Valeria and introduced her. "Valeria, this is Mrs. Landers. She'll take you to where you'll be staying while you're here." Mrs. Carson said. "Hello Valeria. Let me show you around." Mrs. Landers said, holding her hand out. Mrs. Landers led Valeria to the nursery area. She buzzed the door and took her inside. "I think the first thing we should do is get you changed, then I'll assign you a bed." She said.

Jessica and Nancy sat in the middle round table talking about their plans for the day. To the left of their table, there was Angela trying to get her little one to eat breakfast, and Olivia, trying to get her little one to accept a new toy to tote around all day, a stuffed rabbit that was way too large to hide. "Now, come on," Angela said to her little Erica, the girl in red pigtails that Angela had gotten the stubborn girl to finally realize she had no choice if she wanted their protection from the bullies. "You need to eat your breakfast, and this cinnamon roll is actually pretty good, and I want you to drink your milk." Angela had bought the breakfast for Erica despite Erica already having had breakfast at home, partially, because Angela pretended not to believe Erica when she said she already ate. Olivia kept trying to shove the pink rabbit that was nearly half the girl's height into her arms. "Come on, now, Kim. Mommy worked very hard at a part time job to get this for you, and I really thought of you when I saw it. Please take it for today, then after you bring it home, you can decide if you want to bring it to school tomorrow or not." No one seemed to be paying attention to Cindy when she first entered the lunch room....

Frank and Patty had been trying to adopt for almost two years now, ever since they had found out that it would be next to impossible to have children of their own. They had tried six different adoption agencies, but they had been given the run around. They were both tired of the promises they had been given, only to have their hopes dashed, time after time. They were at the end of their rope with little hope left. They had already spent over twenty thousand dollars in fees with nothing to show for it. Then one day they saw a notice in the newspaper about adopting a child from overseas. After talking it over they decided to look into it. They called the number and set up an appointment. They went to the address they were given and entered the office. They sat down and waited to be called.

Nicole had recently turned nineteen years old, and was really still at the home for replacement of orphans because she had not finished high school yet, but as of two weeks ago, she had finished high school, and so she was given an old tattered suitcase at the time, twenty dollars, and a taxi that would take her anywhere she wanted to try to start in the city. Almost penniless, and on the street, Nicole had not known what to do at the time. She spent the first two nights on a bench in a park, but then she met someone who would change her life, and the lives of her little sisters who were still at the replacement home. The sisters met up three times since Nicole was out, and during those two weeks, the person she had met had been letting her stay with him. His name was Jim. After Nicole had told him about her sisters, about the system, and about her fears of losing contact with her sisters when the state decided to move them again, Jim proposed a bold plan to help her keep her family together. The sisters had arranged to meet in the back of an old shopping mall that had closed down about six months previously due to a better one being open on the otherside of town. Of course, there was no way to get inside, and the little sisters were not to be seen, so Nicole had planned to meet them in the ditch that ran along behind the old mall. When Nicole had caught up to the place where she was to meet her heavy set fourteen year old sister and her much lighter twelve year old sister, she sighed in relief that they had been waiting for her, and so were not held up. She pulled out a bottle of water for each of them, and then whispered the plan to them. "We need to get to the highway out of town," she had told them. Once we get to the right spot, that Jim showed me last night, then we will have to wait in the ditch again until his car pulls over at the side of the road. That's when we'll know it's the right car." She tried to smile reassuring to her little golden-skin sisters, but it was hard to be reassuring when your hair was wet from from walking in fog, your clothes were a bit messed up so that people didn't question that she was still on the street. They couldn't give the police any reason to connect Jim to their getaway if Jim's plan were to work. And finally, Nicole was just tired from all the walking thus far, but she had to press on and encourage her sisters to come with her. Eventually, after another near three hours, and it coming upon about nine-thirty in the evening, they made it to the spot that Nicole said they would meet Jim. She then looked her sisters over the best she could in the dark to see that they weren't too buised up from crawling about in ravines, mud, and brambles to stay hidden from anyone that might recognize them. There were light scratches, a poke or two from thorns in each of the girls, mud all over their arms, their pants or legs, and their shirts. Olivia, being the one in a skirt, even had mud all over her panties and some inside her panties, but there wasn't much they could do about it at the moment. "He'll be along soon," Nicole said to her sisters trying to keep them calm.

Zoey Matthews befriended Wendy the last month of the school year. They were really close friends yet she hasn't stayed at Wendy's house before. It was always her house they had sleep overs at. Zoey didn't know why Wendy never wanted her to stay at her house but she practically begged her to have a sleepover at Wendy's house for once. So when Wendy learned her parents were going out of town she finally decided that Zoey could come over for the weekend since it was beginning of the summer after all. It was an early Friday morning and Zoey decided to head over to Wendy's house. She was super excited to finally have a sleepover at Wendy's. She sent a text letting her friend know she was on her way. Finally around 11 am, she arrived at her friends door. She held her bag which contained her clothes, extra blankets, make up and other necessities she would have for that day through Monday. She wondered what was planned for there weekend.

Rokugan was an ancient civilization (a fictional part of this story) that authorities on the subject place around the Chinese area back when the Earth was more or less, Pangea, and believe it or not, they say that it co-existed with the Terrible Lizards we call Dinosaurs. There are a lot of mysteries surrounding this mystical and mysterious place, and now, some believe that a part of its lore and influences are even affecting today's world. Professor Randall Heightensen has taken a few trips to China to look further into the ancient civilization and to see if he can figure out more about what was going on there. They say that the cradle of civilization was in Africa some time after the Dinosaurs, but what if that was just where life had began again after some catastrophe, and what if the real start of the human story actually did start further East in the world, some thousand years before the African origin story? In the coming term, Randall is determined to bring some fresh blood with him so that some new eyes can get a look at what he found. He knows the old scholars will refute the civilization despite his evidence based principally on the fact that there have been no other hints or clues about such of an existence before. He knows that science likes solid proof, and while he agrees that solid proof is important, he believes that the older codgers, despite the proof he has found, will not accept anything before they even know what there is to see. He hopes that the newer students, at least half of them having some interest and experience in science, will actually look at the proof he has before deciding for themselves, and then, if even they say that what he is seeing is not what he thinks he sees, then maybe he can accept that something is just misplaced. A few days later, the start of term is about to start, and students are checking into dorms. Then, the first day of classes are beginning.... As the first day of classes begin, we start with the main character, Adam Johnson, coming into his first day of math, but let's let Adam tell us that story, shall we...? (Robehouse):....

Adam had been waiting all afternoon one day for his house to get their little prisoners. He had been given files on four little girls between the ages of ten and eleven, and every one of them had committed very serious crimes. The law had had to make a choice, should they go to prison, and not kid detention, but real adult prison, or would they be better off.... So it was, that four little girls were driven from a jail in Colorado, overnight, not allowed to get out of the van for any reason because a mistake was made, and they thought they were escorting boys and not girls, so after they called it in, and it being too late, they had to just keep the girls in the van. They fed them, of course, but they didn't let them out for any reason, thus after nearly eighteen hours in the van, all four of them had peed at least twice in their pants. Finally, the van pulled up outside, and while three kids were kept in the van, One small fragile blond with blue eyes was led into the office part of the huge mansion like house. She kept looking down at the floor, her hands bound in front of her, her legs bound, and an orange rope trailing from the pants look of her soaked jeans. "What in the ...?" Adam and the guard argued about how they handled the girl and kept her chained up like that, but eventually, when he signed for her release, he was able to request that the guard release her from all those sill contraptions! There was no way an eleven year old child could overpower him and then even if she did get away, there was no where to run. Their house was nearly in the middle of a desert, and the girl didn't really know where she was, did she? He confirmed that her name was October, and then he led her from the office to the sitting room where he saw Jason and the others watching TV. "Jason, this is October. She's going to be your little one. You might want to get to know her and maybe... yeah... get her cleaned up. She's peed her pants."

Mary Collins stepped off the school bus glad to be away from school. It had been her first day of sixth grade, officially a middle schooler. It had been hectic as she had never had to change classes before now. She didn't like they only gave her five minutes between classes to go to the bathroom if she needed to and get to class. Some of her classes were in different buildings or different ends of the same building and she had difficulty making it to some of her classes on time. She was picked on by some of the older girls because of her size. She looked like she belonged in elementary school still.

Diane Reynolds had always had a interest in taking care of younger girls and treating them like babies. She would often diaper her friends little sisters and play with them as if they were babies. Now she was in high school, and the opportunity arose for her to start a high school baby club. She had convinced the home ec teacher that this was a good idea, so the big sisters could learn first hand what taking care of a baby is like.

Abigail Adams stood in the highschool parking lot, she stood next to her teacher holding her hand. Her 7th grade advisory class were going on a camping trip for the summer, and she begged her parents not to sign the slip but they did and dropped her off at 7 am. She was the first one there, her teacher gave her a Gerber's puree pouchie to have to eat, fearing she didn't have enough for breakfast. This was a reason she didn't want to go on the trip in the first place because she didn't want to have to be babied by her teacher all summer. It was humiliating the way she was treated like a toddler unlike the other kids. But here Abby was holding her teacher's hand drinking the baby pouchie waiting for the rest of the students to arrive. Only have arrived and a few acknowledged her. And once all the students arrived, Abby had a feeling this was going to be a long summer.

Rosie aka Rose-Marie had been dating her girlfriend Pamela for almost half a year, but had known each other since there freshman year in highschool. Rosie noticed her girlfriend was acting different lately. Pamela wanted more cuddled, always held her hand going to places, not letting her cook because of sharp objects etc. She thought at first she was just being protective and a concerned girlfriend. Which she thought was endearing.

Jordan settled nervously in the big, cushiony leather chair in the well-lit office. She was now meeting with this therapist for the fifth time in the last five weeks, and it was going well so far, despite her initial reservations. Jordan was a freshman at the local university, stood about 5 feet tall, and weighed a petite 105 pounds. A dancer since she was in diapers, it was her mothers ambitions and drive that continuously forced Jordan to dance growing up. Jordan made sure her sleeves were covering up her entire forearm so nothing but her hands were exposed. Her parents were very passionate, and always insisted that they did what they did to help her succeed in life, but that did not mean the bruises were always well-hidden. Thr young girl still lived at home with her parents. Every day she would wake up early, practice her dance, go to class, and return home promptly to cook and serve dinner, and continue practicing. One of her professors, a kindly older lady, witnessed

Bob and Kathy Johnson had signed up for the foreign exchange student program, offering to take a student in for six months to a year so they could study here. Since they only had one daughter, Trudy, they hoped to get a girl, but would be happy with either a girl or boy. After sending off the required paperwork, they had waited six months before getting an answer. There was an Asian girl named Kim Mien-Jin who was in need of a host family. They accepted and now were going to pick her up from the airport, which was in another city, about two hours away. Trudy was unsure of taking in someone from a foreign country, as she wasn't sure she would be able to communicate with her, but she had no choice, as it was her parent's decision. Trudy rode in the back seat on the way to the airport. They got out and went inside. Bob saw on the board where the plane that Kim would be on was due to arrive in just a few minutes. They made their way to the gate to see the passengers coming in. They had a picture of Kim that they had been given, along with other papers.

Darlene Newton had received a phone call from her sister Melanie asking if her daughter Lindsey could come for a visit. Apparently Lindsey had been attending college, but was in need of some remedial potty training, as she had been having potty accidents of both kinds, poop and pee. Darlene assured her sister that she would help Lindsey get retrained. Darlene ran a daycare for college age girls that had trouble staying dry and needed help getting potty trained. Her daughter, Angela helped her out. When she got off the phone with her sister, she talked to Angela and got things set up. Darlene went to the bus station to pick up Lindsey and bring her back to the house.
