  1. My problem with the “curve is flattening “ mantra is that people seem to interpret that to mean that there is a lower probability of being infected with Covid-19.  Looking at both curves, the same number of people get infected; it’s just that they get infected over a longer period of time so that the health care system doesn’t get overloaded at any given time and unable to provide life saving care because of a lack of providers, supplies, and facilities.

  2. I’d have been tempted to have a slightly different (Rod Serling) twist to the plot. Garret makes his wish and goes to bed. During the night, the world changes. The next morning he wakes up in a soiled, wet diaper; snuggles with Sarah; and then they change each other’s diapers like they have every other morning of their lives together fully believing that this is the way things have always been.  Although, I’d have probably had them shower together to clean up from messing their diapers before diapering each other, since it’s lots easier to clean up from a messy diaper in the shower rather than using wipes to do the job.

  3. I question the logic that the parents are using to put the kids back in diapers.  The reasoning of the referenced web site isn’t in the story. Most parents are in a hurry to get the kids toilet trained so they don’t have to deal with messy diapers.  The mother insisting on changing her teenagers’ diapers doesn’t seem likely.

  4. Given that the other races are currently living in paradise (at least that’s what can be presumed from the ending of the previous story), why would they return to what is either purgatory or hell?  With the current state of affairs, it would seem that the racial intolerance is worse that ever in this world.  Their return would only aggravate that situation.  With nudges from possible missionaries from the other world, this world might develop into a more tolerant civilization. So, option 2 seems to be the more plausible story line.

  5. Good luck. Unfortunately, you’ll probably need a plumber to permanently solve the problem. Do your bath tub/shower or other drains in the house also back up?  If so, try to find which drains share the same pipe and try to localize the blockage that way.

  6. Either quit flushing stuff that shouldn’t be flushed or, if that isn’t the problem, get the drain pipe properly cleaned all the way to the street sewer line.  If the pipe is backing up repeatedly, you have a problem in the line, like plant roots or a partially collapsed pipe.  Either problem won’t be solved with a plunger.

    Bingo, same with me.

Still a bit of a challenge in getting the folds just right so my 35" squares fit my 36-38" waist though.  They fit, but most times they're not really secure. I've had a couple of successes with them though...  when I took off the wet diaper that looked exactly as it had when it was  first put on, I wondered how I had folded it and if I could remember how for the next time.

I use the Leakmaster prefold gauze diapers.  I’ve found that having the diaper come somewhat above the waist in back and just over the bellybutton in front, then fastened snuggly gives very secure fit. So secure that I don’t even need to wear waterproof pants to help hold them up.  As long as I don’t want to sit on something that needs protection or I use an underpad to protect the chair, I can get by without the waterproof pants for several hours.

  8. Not really stuck at home, but with all municipal services shut down and the restaurants closed, there isn’t much reason to go out or even get dressed.  So, I’m doing various projects around the house dressed only in my diaper. The number laundry loads of diapers has increased.

I live in a Ford van, so being stuck at home when homeless is an ironic play on words to say the least. My gym is closed so I can't take showers. If this keeps up I'll have to splurge on a motel room. I'm in the construction industry, and since I'm on a residential  housing job, we're exempt from the lockdown. But the General Contractor has yet to determine if "social distancing" an be effectively implemented ( probably not ). So I'm out of work for an indefinite period of time. Gonna be hunkered down in financial survival mode for a while.

Which brings me to my next point....I've single-handedly covered the operating costs for this site for the last 3 months with donations. I seriously wonder if I'll be able to do so again anytime soon, so...if you like this website, I urge anyone who can to make a donation. Just $20 a month (every month) would be greatly helpful. DailyDiapers dot com is literally struggling along from month-to-month, and the site owner is unable to work a job for medical reasons. So it's up to us, the membership, to keep this site alive & well. Put your money where your mouths are, folks.....it's very much needed. Thx ???

You might have to search for a motel.  Those are starting to shut down now according to the news. There are very few travelers now, so the motels/hotels are mostly empty.

I have one and a half containers of baby powder and just got a new bottle of baby lotion to go with my remaining 1/5th of a bottle. I ALWAYS have a sufficient supply if diapers. If I run low, I just wash them as I have done for 10 years. If we are buttoned up for two months  with nobody about,. I will be fine, I can binge-hug my dollies and binge-wear. Shall I say I will be in ...erm....are you ready?....here it comes...PARADISE

Yep.  It’s in times like this that cloth diapers show their true benefits.

  12. Never accidentally. The first time I can remember happened when I about 3 years old.  I soiled my training pants and then tried to hide my misdeed. The pants were found and I was back in diapers for a while. After that, I can remember soiling my pants several times over the years when I thought I could get away with it.  I did get caught a couple of times and had to talk my way out of it. Later, I was devious enough to be able to do it without being caught. When I left home for college, I no longer soiled my pants as I started wearing diapers more frequently and soiled those.
