How long did it take?  I've been 24/7 heading toward 6 months and I'm still quite nappy-fixated in my head - I notice I'm on DD a lot more since going 24/7.  I think I'm less frustrated though.

That's a thing isn't it!  Right now I'm burning through about A$42 per week on disposable nappies and that's by using cloth a few times per week.  100% disposable would cost me $A52 (and that's before things like rash creams, waterproof pants etc).  A$52 is currently around US$36.  It adds up.

Yes it adds up for me to go full time for my first time I think I would need about $500.00 - $1,000 for start up new pants clothing.  Onesie's a few pars or ore plastic pants and fixing pants.  and of course the diapers.

  2. I just had a brain fart!  Well more like a thought.  How much time do you dwell on diapers?

For me well a lot.  I am always thinking about diapers.  When I am home and on my computer it can get really bad.  I am consistently on this forum looking at different post.  Reading different post about different parts of well diapers.  Different stories and such that people post in parts of this forum.

It seems I find diapers fascinating.  I got diapers on the brain all the time.

And you might guess it I truly want to be wearing diapers full time.  Though that will wait.

"as soon as I hear running water I nearly always wet myself (diaper)"

@Andrew51 I as well.  when I am at work and I am wearing my diaper that day at work when i run the water to fill the bucket to mop the floor it never fails I start pissing.  If I am not wearing a diaper though I have to stop what I am doing and run to the bathroom as I know what will happen if I am not diapered.

    Hey guys,

It's getting warmer again where i live and so i'm starting to get hayfever. I haven't gone to a doctor about it yet but whenever i sneeze i tend to leak a spurt or two, It can get pretty bad when sneeze three times in a row. Do you guys have this as well? and what kind of protection do you wear? I personally am thinking about getting an Abri-form M2 but am using maxi pads as of now.

I have not sneezed and peed myself though I have sneezed and messed myself.  Got a nice Shart out of it.  Though was not happy as I was at work.  Though good thing I was wearing a diaper.

  5. A sign of Fecal Incontinence is when you feel like you are farting but you have more then just air in your underpants.  I am not fecal incon though I do wake up in the middle of the night or the next morning with a messy butt.  Most nights I am just wearing my regular underpants.  Tighty whiteys and wake up with a messy butt.  Usually when I am wearing a diaper I do not have that issue over night.

Plus during the day I can be eating something and within 10 or so min maybe 15 min I will need to use the bathroom for #2 if I do not stay where I am like at a restaurant and go to the bathroom within a certain time frame I might mess myself.  That is a sign I am losing control of my #2

Mm, for the sake of those around you, consider shaving.  Hair retains odour.  Now that I am hairless down there, it's a lot easier to avoid.  One rinse and its gone.

Instead of blade shaving, try clippers.  I've noticed that blade shaving can lead to ingrown hairs (ouch!!) but my electric clippers don't seem to cause that problem at all.

I will use sudocreme with disposables but a rash powder if I am cloth (which I usually am from Thu night until Sat morning with my current work routine).  I'm still struggling with the smell of aged Babykins pull-on cloth diapers but that's another story.

Interesting to know about the electric clippers

You constantly describe, as recently as a few posts above, making a planned point of doing it around people when you don’t need to. Like pooping yourself and then going out and sitting in a McDonald’s that way. I have a huge problem with that, and I’m willing to bet that many of the people you do it around do too.

Sorry but I got to say something here.  Not all diapers are a like. If one is wearing a good premium diaper and make a mess in it.  And use a lot of powder then the chance of someone smelling it are slim.  Now I am in no way supporting ones choice of messing in public but most people who choose to do so might be wearing a diaper who one can not smell the mess.  Though I could be wrong as if it is a well fiber meal and it is a total mess then yes there could be smelly mess to deal with and I believe a good change is indeed needed.  But those people who are trying to be unpotty trained well then messing is part of the process.  Now for me who wants to unpotty train myself I will take measures to make that smell less so that no one is offended.  And if I do have a mess I will clean it up right away as I do not want other people smelling me.  I do not like the smell so no one should have to deal with it either.

  8. I really do not remember getting caught when I was a kid though I do remember that my older brother told on me to a few friends. Now a days if someone finds out I just don't give a flying! F*** as it is my business not theirs.  I am 47 years of age and if I want to wear a diaper I shall do it.   Plus I got bad bowel issue so I technically have to wear them when I leave the house as well I might have a messy butt by the time I get home.  Which I hate.

Thankfully I don't suffer from itching down there very much, only when I've had the occasional bout of diaper rash and only once badly, hence the generous application of Sudacrem

I suffer from the itch all the tie even without the diaper so Shaving myself is not going to go good so I will stick with hair down there.

However young we were I doubt any of us on here will forget the first time we put diapers on by choice, just like the first time I nervously purchased my first packet of diapers myself, I'll never forget it. Now of course I just bulk buy on-line and have more than  enough of everything all the time.

I wish I could buy in bulk.  Like a few cases at a time.

I know the feeling. Best you can do is, carry on, try your best to get through the lean times, and hope you get to a better place at some point. Hasn’t helped me yet, but I play the lottery every week, lol! Find the good times where you can, and when you can too. You need to laugh, it’s good therapy. I hope you get to feel better soon Eddie.

Thank you I also play the lottery.  Though not often.  I also believe in the Law of attraction and I help someone with their website on the subject of LOA.

Like Stroller above, I shave in the shower at least a couple of times a week, thighs and private parts. I now have to stand with the new diaper I'm planning to put on on the floor opened out between my legs as I finish drying myself as I'm now likely to dribble if I don't. I use Sudacrem as a barrier cream all over my private parts and rear before using an unfragranced talc and then pull up and tape the diaper and cover with my plastic pants. I use the Sudacrem each time I change during the day but only use the talc first change in the morning and last at night as its a bit dusty to use when changing outside. I have worn a cage and its great for peeing and keeps your penis pointing down and helps avoid leaks. I think it also encourages me to dribble. The downside is it is hard to keep clean and does chafe. I've never worn it for more than 24 hours at a time. However my partner is trying to encourage me to wear it for longer. I may try a whole weekend soon.

When I go full time I will not be shaving down below I itch enough down there now and if I shave that area well I will be itching all the time and that is not good.  And if I am in a onesie well it will be impossible to get the itch.

  13. My profile tells the story of how I became a DL or when it all began though by choice it was like when I was 12 years of age.  I found me some diapers and put one on  It was just before my grandfather died.  There was some of his diapers in his room and I took them for myself.  And well they were way to big I still wore them.  Ever since then I began on and off wearing diapers.  Now this is back in the early 80's so there was no ABDL diapers on the market or if there was I sure would not know of it.  They were plain white diapers.  I would also steal them from my little sisters and younger brother and try and put them on at that age I still could fit in one but very tight.

I personally do not purchase jars of Calmoseptine oinment as I am constantly traveling and jars do not fit so fell in my toiletry bag.  I think if it was not for this fact I would buy jars as you get more for your money and it is much easier to apply.  Tubes, once they get low, require some serious labor to get any oinment out.

Cut the tube down the middle and you can then get more of it out.

I'm thinking of getting me both the jar and the tubes.  Tubes will be for when not at home and Jar will be for at home only.

My average cost for diapers alone is about $300 a month.  I primarily buy overnight Rearz disposable diapers or ABU Simples/Simple Ultras.  I need I would say at minimum about 120 of these diapers a month.

My onesies I wear to exhaustion and replace them every year and a half.  I usually buy 10 at once and pay around $225 for them.

The Gary Activewear briefs I wear over my diapers are very durable.  I have thrown out only one or two pairs in over two years.  I would say at most about $100 a year for five pairs.

Abena fixing pants are also very durable.  Not one pair has worn out in over two years of wearing them almost everyday.  I initially bought 10 pair for around $125.

So for me it would cost me slightly over $4000 if I had to replace all my clothing.  I buy powder and calmoseptine ointment in bulk as well but one tube lasts months.

HI there Mark.  Would you buy the Jar of Calmosphtine Ointment?  https://www.amazon.com/Calmoseptine-Ointment-2-5-Each-Pack/dp/B00E8JZTG4/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=calmoseptine+ointment&qid=1561943226&s=gateway&sr=8-6  For the house and then for on the road the tubes?  Or just tubes all the way?

How well do they work? I mean, If I was in a store and filled my diaper, would there be any trace at all? Also, are they safe? I'm curious to know how they work, and where you buy them?

    @ rusty pins

What's cool about the Play Dough, is that it's like real poop and smashes. But even better is that you can shape it back. By the way, if you poop in a sandwich bag and seal it, it will still give off a smell, but not as strong, more like a real baby poop smell. And you don't have the mess. But if your sit down, the bag will expload.

I been told they work really well.  Search this form for it a few people talk about it.

No butt crack, huge thick underwear outline, noisey ....diaper sticking out..... all pretty obvious stuff

Not so true as I am wearing a diaper while i'm at work and you can not tell I am wearing a diaper.  The only way someone can tell is if I bend over and my shirt rides up.  Sometimes the diaper is above my pants line.

But most of what you suggested above is true.

NewBee, You are a very lucky person, I have never had the chance to try rears, as they are really expensive , but your spouse will diaper you, my wife wants nothing to do with it and its been years.

Foreverdl go to wearingclouds.com get a sample from them.  their only a few dollars on that site.  And I do believe they are in Cali or the west coast.
