    Not really. My family and friends mostly know. The only time its been really disruptive was when I was backpacking through SE Asia for an extended period of time

    My Mom left shortly after I started. She was never really involved. My Dad has always been great - treated it as no big deal, it is what it is and never made me feel bad. He's actually helped me a lot come to terms with it
