Leo looks around at the park, waiting for Drake. While he waits, he goes to sit on a swing.
------
Drake was in the car with his mother, when he realized he had an accident in his Pull-Ups.
"Mommy, I pee pee..." He said, with shame in his voice.
I guess I should give mine...
I remember getting up in the middle of the night having to pee. My training potty was on the stairs, so I sat on it and started peeing. My mom came in and she realized that the pot had been taken out-so I was essentially peeing on the carpeted stair. She held my hand and took me to the master bathroom-me peeing all the way.
Leo giggles. He couldn't wait to see Drake! Drake was sooooo funny, and cool! He was a blast.
Still, Leo stayed by his mother's side as they got what they needed done.
Leo shakes his head. "I good. No pee."
As Leo's Pull-Up gets slid on, he gets up and gets off the changing table.
"What now? Park?" He asks his mother.
Leo shakes his head.
"No. Wanna be a big boy."
To Leo, he could be a big boy just by peeing in the potty. To him, his poop was a part of him-it would be like flushing away an arm, or a leg! So he kept pooping his Pull-Ups.
After about 30 minutes of playing, Leo has to poop. But he doesn't want to go to the potty to poop. So he heads to the far away back corner of the play area, where mommy can't see him, and squats.
Leo looks confused at that statement. He was wearing training pants... weren't his Pull-Ups training pants?
He quickly discards that thought as he begins to eat up his fries and burger, eating juuuuust neatly enough that he doesn't need any changes of clothing, but he does get a lot of sauce around his mouth.
As a part of my littlespace, when I am in diapers, I like to worm and wriggle during a change, because I'm a bored toddler who wants to get back to playing. I don't make it too hard-I kick a little, or sometimes flip onto my tummy-but I do make it a little harder.
Does anyone else like to do something like that?
Leo nods. "I wanna big boy burger!" He says as you head to the MacDonalds in the food court. Leo heads off to the kids zone to play as you get the orders ready.
Leo bursts into laughter and runs into the store, looking at every possible toy in a fit of glee and mania.
Eventually, he decides on a toy train-not an electric one on a track, a simple wooden one.
"I want!"
I'm about 2, 2.5. If I'm on the upper side, I'm in Pull-Ups and want to use the big boy potty but still has accidents, but on the lower end, I'm a squirmy toddler who doesn't like his diaper being changed (because I can't play on the changing table!)
