Christmas present that requires a USB-C socket charge source and do you think I can find one of THOSE in the house?
Dollar Tree has those actually. Most other stores charge $10 or so for one because they know people are caught in predicaments like that.

In the Spring, Amazon notified me I could not use their shopping app anymore and I had to use a browser (prompts for my super long password, which I can never remember). I kept clicking on the shop app and it always redirected for months. About a month ago, it actually loads and I can add to cart. Recently upon joining a zoom meeting, it said it would no longer update. This was my second Fire. Ya, they are cheap, but this is nuts. My previous kindle I did root it, but the os had some issues. I did send it for recycling and discount on a new one, but they noticed I had rooted it, so they sent it back to me. Amazon doesn't appear they offer this anymore...ugh.
The other thing that is no longer supported is my Roku stick of four or five years. This was my second stick too. I have a roku premier in the living room. I wonder how soon it will be headed for recycling.
And yet, I bought a Ring spotlight with camera and when I went to change router to disable older wpa (I think that was it), the Ring would not connect to it! Ugh. Oh ya and add the wifi printer to that one too. And of course, the router company stopped updating the firmware. There is / are probably some security vulnerabilities with it now. I'm expecting the router to go to the recycling heap soon. That would be my third or fourth one.
More and more profits. ??
Sounds like you need to do away with some of that tech. These problems didn't exist before...
This reminds me on a more serious note of how police reform advocates are being murdered in some parts of the US. One would think that people with guns that have authority to shoot people at their descretion should have transparency with the public regarding what they are doing and why. Apparently some legislators/advocate groups think otherwise...

I was thinking more of something like:
- side of battery --> resistor --> urine detector --> LEDs --> + side of battery
PCBs have a habit of crapping out unexpectedly and aren't very good for the environment but if you already have a bedwetting alarm that contains one your idea might work.
I wonder if @Ferixwould be able to make something like that.

I'd think the easiest way to go about this would be to take the padding from several cool alert diapers and add it to your modified diaper. Baking soda/vinegar also become cold when mixed and produce a harmless gas, put this in a sealed bag or balloon and it'll make the diaper inflate.
Now what I think would be really cool (no pun intended) is a diaper that lights up. Only problem is chemical glow sticks are thermally sensitive and don't last as long when warm. (This is also why putting them in the freezer makes them last longer.) An LED light up thing of some sort might be more feasable if it were waterproofed but you'd need some way to activate it (or activate it first and then insert it) whereas glow sticks could simply be inserted in the diaper and then "magically" activate upon wearing the diaper.
Sorry about all the rambling, this is something I've been interested in as well.

You gotta love it when they hire the mentally handicap!
I don't see how blaming a person for having a mental handicap would help anything. The person may have just seen 2 identical items, considered it to be a duplicate and was trying to prevent you from being double charged.

Only if you count cleaning up all the wrapping paper.
Have you ever watched all 8 Harry Potter movies?

No, the bagel man is a lot more fun.

If you have to clock out for break, your boss legally can't ask you to work while on break. That would be asking someone to work while off the clock and is actually a reportable offense.

No.
Have you voted without doing any prior research?

If a diaper comes detached, you can just change into a new one. If a toilet comes detached, it floods your whole bathroom and not just when you're peeing in it.

If you drop a piano down a mineshaft and it strikes an A flat minor, what chord would it strike if you drop it down an elevator shaft?
I guess that would be a diminished minor.
Why is it unseasonably warm this winter?

I was approved for disability do to my PTSD and major depressive disorder. So I spend a lot of time at home and do not as stressed. My divorce was finalized so the stressor is no more and going to move to be living with the my income. Been doing some downsizing. My normal doctor understands that I regress to handle stress and changes I'm not ready for.
Glad to hear that things are moving in a more positive direction.

Might just be a glitch with my device then; I'll see what I can do.

This is the only site on which this seems to happen; could it be something with the forum software itself? Some have that feature hard coded.

If you’re involved openly and publicly making people uncomfortable you’re just asking for a bad experience from the public itself.
This isn't about public behavior. If you can't respect people's personal and non-infringing interests, you put yourself at risk for a criminal conviction. Remember that blackmail is considered a crime in many jurisdictions.

Im sorry what? How did someone wanting a example turn into a explanation.
Anyways, the furry fandom cannot keep going down its current path of taking its issues and throwing it under a rug like it dont exist. Not going to fly anymore. You cant keep silencing people just because you personally disagree with what they say or their situation. I was targeted(as in doxxed, silenced, socially pressured)years ago by babyfurs because of what I said, my living arrangement and how I lived my life ect. Furries are still being selectively singled out to this very day because of the reasons I have stated.
How can they say they are open and expressive when they go after people for doing exactly that???
This way going about things isnt going to work ANYMORE. You cant be liberal and socially conservative in the fandom these days, they have to change and these recent events is a indication that the fandom is changing so its problems MUST BE ADRESSED NOW!
Much of this hate likely has to do with the "anti free thinkers" demographic which unfortunately spans across many other demographics to a degree. I've had some of the same things happen and nearly lost my job on more than one occasion.
Honestly when it comes to social groups like that, maybe your best bet is to file a complaint with the FCC especially if you have proof that criminal conduct is going on there. Much like how Facebook wasn't under fire until around 2016 when they were found to be facilitating election mismanagement.

1 - what browser are you using.
I am using Firefox 107.0.1 (64-bit) on Win 7 and do not experience the 'automatic logout' that you are experiencing.
Could it be related to your browser or something else? Dial-up ISPs used to have this feature/error. Most modern ISPs do not unless they are trying to share the thread of your connection with others - some cheap ISPs call this contention ratio as a way to get away with charging you for a high speed conection while only providing a much lower speed / throttling connection.
2 - Is this the only site that is automatically logging you out.
3 - Are you connecting via a NAT* / VPN* server similar to NordVPN or others? Are they the ones that are logging you out?
4 - Are you running Windows v.8 to v.11?
Microsoft have been failing to support its OS since the release of Windows 8. The last known stable OS from Microsoft is Windows 7, and in my opinion, Microsoft is not liable to last 12-18 months the way they are acting in relation to their OS's and their software development platforms suites. Similar occured with companies like Gateway, Compaq plus others. They all thought that they were too big to ever close.
There are errors in Windows OS in some of their updates which has caused errors in reboot and in connections to third party servers for the last 2-3 years, which are still not fixed today. Most recently, an update has cased issues with MS Teams, their online video conferencing app., which means a lot of corporate companies with staff working from home have switched to Zoom instead. In relation to the IDE Visual Studio, version 2019 works. Version since that date are tied to Win 8 and greater, can be installed on Win 7 / Linux, but are totally unstable to such an extent that no software - even samples - can run correctly without the complete Windows suite that include MS Edge etc installed on a machine. As a result, the key parts that are required for a developement platform does not work for anything greater than Windows 7 and VS 2019. This means that new software cannot be developed, without jumping through hoops, for Win 8 - Win 11... something that Microsoft have created. As a result, Microsoft have cut their own throat - and it is only a matter of time before business changes to another OS instead of Microsoft based.

If you're using Google Chrome or DuckDuckGo, it's likely the browser that's putting the errors there. Both browsers are known for producing false errors/warnings on sites they don't like, mainly ones that aren't far left.
