  1. I would have to say the best overnight pull-up diaper is Wellness. They state the diaper is good for 8 hours. I am a heavy wetter, and they never leaked on me, even though I use plastic pants and a bed pad. I was truly impressed.
  2. I use medium briefs, usually Abena Abri-M4. I made a mistake ordering and asked for L4, the large model. Well, maybe it absorbed more, but the opening between my legs resulted in leaks. So, I would say go with your true size. If you need more protection use a booster pad.
  3. I've tried nearly every type and brand and homed in on Better Dry for overnight use. They even need a booster, but they are far better than any other diaper I have used. Yes, they are costly, but price versus getting up soaked or leaked through makes them a worthwhile for me. I'm impressed with Wellness briefs, since they actually DO work for 8 hours. I have used them overnight and no leaks. I'm using FitRight Extended Wear diapers, and they are good too. The only thing about them is that they are cloth-like, and the reusable tabs are great, but I still prefer plastic backing on diapers. Most of the nights I also wear a plastic pant over them, and they have some in handy several times.
  4. Back against a wall, bring the front through the legs, tape left, right left right, tighten them up and off to the races.
  5. Since I wear a diaper to bed, and have for a long time, I would say security, knowing I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to pee. When I wear one around the house, it's also for convenience, because I'd be running to the bathroom every hour or so, diapers do away with that hassle for a tiny bit of pee.Sexual urge? Maybe a little, but I've gotta be honest, those days are almost a memory.
  6. I'm sort of the reverse from you. I can pee as much as I can, then a few minutes later, more flows out. I use guards and they are a regular thing for me now, no more worries abut wet underwear or pants. I tried shields, but they are only OK to prevent pee from leaking out, they don't absorb like guards do.
