Man! That really sucks! So I'm assuming you have to be fed through IVs?? If that's the case, I can definitely understand why you would like to watch people eat/cook.?? I feel SO sorry for you buddy!??? Food is one of the many great joys of life! If that happened to me I would kill myself. I couldn't live like that. (No offense) but then again that's probably all you've ever known so to you it would just be normal. In which case, it's not that big an deal. But that's still a very crappy situation. Sorry, I'm just really passionate about food. LOL!?? But I'm glad you're able to handle that very well. You have incredible strength buddy!!!!! And I'm sorry you have such a crappy family. Yup, I'm hooked up to I.Vs for 12hours a day, it's mostly while I'm sleeping, so, it's not too bad.

My family isn't too bad, main problems I have are with my mom, the rest of my family is alright.

Honestly, food to me is one of those things, where I think the fantasy of eating things far outweighs the actual experience. Despite not being able to eat, I have very picky tastes, I dislike most flavors.

My wife often has me try drinks, sauces, condiments and other smoother things. (If it doesn't have crumbs and is smooth, I can probably have it.) Anyway, I dislike 90% of the things I try, the only real flavors I enjoy are savory and sweet. Is spicy a flavor? I like spicy things, but I don't know if it's a flavor or not.

While I'm on the topic, what is with people who eat and their obsession with ketchup? Seriously, half the special types of condiments is just ketchup. BBQ Sauce? Most types of ranch other than just plain ranch? They all just taste exactly like ketchup? Why call it BBQ sauce? Why not call it “Meat Ketchup” or “BBQ Ketchup” that's what it is!

I asked my wife's dad about this, and he agreed, until I told him that they should just call it ketchup, at which point he replies. “Ew, that sounds gross.” But it's all it is anyway! Most of the stuff is mainly vinegar and tomatoes, which is ketchup!

Excuse my silly ketchup-based rant, I just don't get it. Clearly people have a weird relationship with ketchup, they love the taste, but hate the name.
