Due to stress incontinence I've been in diapers--usually a thick pad or Depends undergarments--for 12 years. When I am stressed like today I put myself in Depends pull ups and cloth diapers for as long as I can stay inside and not miss anything outside I plan to do. Today its raining so I can have a relaxing day as a preschooler dribbling and making it to the toilet when really necessary.

If you are purging because you want to go full stop with this AB/DL stuff I can only say, keep the diapers for another time as you might need them again. I had a lot of binge/purge cycles until I accepted this is part of me only I can't let it control me one way or another. Now I have more of a balance and keep my AB/DL stuff for days when I am tired/overwhelmed and can take a break without interfering with other obligations or activities.

I am diapered today after not coming here for a while as I feel overwhelmed and tired, my being tired in part from a lot of walking. I was trying to "fight" not having a babyday also sucking on a binky (although I ID more as a preschooler whose parents aren't rigid about toilet training) but I gave in. I put a time limit on my AB screen name so I can get some other stuff done albeit just in a diaper like I am now. Anne Landers had this famous column saying a lot different types of people relax as AB's in reply to a woman. So I feel OK about it.

A Depends pull up over a Depends undergarment for extra thickness nothing else. Also sucking on a binky.

Well then start your own baby posting area where you can use baby talk us preschoolers hate.

I told just a researcher while participating in a study of a whole lot of behaviors in the community and a friend while visiting when she saw my Depends that I had stress incontinence. She made fun so I didn't tell any one else.

If I were here because I was totally incontinent I would want a cure. I visited people in nursing homes who were incontinent not by choice and it is very difficult. Since my wearing and using diapers is a choice and I can control my dribbling in them and my periods of coming here and being an AB are brief and I get other things done, I am ambivalent to a cure. It would be better to be totally without anything one needs to hide from others.

that's like putting a diapered baby in a safe warm, comfy, crib. No wonder they didn't want to leave.

I just pretend that I only can change at certain times and use so many a day. A caring person who wants to give me a schedule in a private message can.

In the meantime, I am living it, the fantasy working on a long put off project in just a diaper. Getting a lot done. Don't mean to give anyone a bad name.

24/7 works for me to not wet my pants. I have stress incontinence so I just have dribbles. I just relax for the dribble and keep doing what I was doing like someone else said. Yes, I am like you. I wear and dribble in diapers 24/7 and then have special baby times when I am done with a project like now. I get bored with it then alleviating my fear of its taking over so I don't do other things then move on.

yes, I can see that. One has to find the right person as is true of anything.

I have been thinking about this and while I wouldn't want at all at anytime tp become a slave to anyone in reality, the idea of sitting in a diaper doing productive work in a workshop, being taken care of-- being changed and powdered regularly--by a responsible take charge person is a nice fantasy.
