  1. In an odd scientific note these star signs date back to ancient babalyon, and since that time due to stellar drift each sign has moved one place forward. So if your sign doesn't really seem to suit you it may be that you are better suited to the one, a month forward of your current sign.

  2. I'd say your best bet would be a swim diaper, I use one when I go swimming I also wear plastic pants over it, then a boxer type swim suit. No one seems to notice and that way even if an accident happens nothing will leak out.

  3. Actually the current thinking on that is not to limit fluids. As this only makes the person want them more and as you noted makes things more concentrated. Making sure that you get enough liquids through out the day is the most important, and if you have a problem with UTI's limiting will only make them worse. If you wet the bed use with a pad, absorbant underwear or a diaper, as was said you can die from bed wetting, but you could from a UTI. :)

  4. If you want the onsie to shrink you can wash warm and dry it on medium heat, but I'm too sure how much it will shrink. That varies by fabric and the likes. If it's out of the normal T-shirt material it will stretch after it does shrink. As for hemming a onsie, it can be done but I've always found sewing t-shirt material a pain, jersy knit cotton is very unforgiving especial to the novice seamstress.

    Take care

  5. While I was a student nurse in nursing school we sat down in class tried fromula and even mother's milk, just to see what a baby tastes. I wasn't to turned on by formula, but like Moogle said the toddler formula are almost palitable. Human milk by far tasted the beast, but then there is the problem of finding a supplier? Either way I congraduation on finding a mommy, we are still looking for one that would like an ab couple, have fun an keep us posted of your adventures :)

  6. I have IBS as well as urinary incontinence. The diginosis of IBS is mainly based on ruling everything else out. I have found that eating out especially at fast food placed makes my tummy act up a lot offen giving me an uncontrolablly messy diaper well before I can get home, but I guess that's what they were made for. I would see a doctor and there are some medication that can help with it in the short term, that and dietary changes usually work the best. :)

  7. This could be one of two devices on the market. One is electronic, it is called the interstim device. It is an electronic device simular to a pacemaker that in implanted in a pocked in the guteutal muscle of your but. Then it attatched to 4 electrodes that are implanted in the spine. Electrical stimulation from the device allow the bladder to either expand or contract. It can be effective with urge incontince, neurogenic bladder and over active bladder. The device is not experimental as I have had mine for about 10 years. I just had the lastest version implanted in october of last year, it is not painless but, it is a rather fast out-patient procedure. The only problem I've had with it is that it when you have to empty you bladder, I myself have little time to think about it, that and it need monthly adjustment via a remote control. The other item is the artificial sphincter, this device is implanted around the urethera and is controled is close by a saline filled pump. When you want to empty your bladder you just slimply put on the pump and it deflated and you pee. So those are the devices that are approved right now, what's coming next we'll just have to wait and see.

  8. I've tried them in the past and found them to be a complete pain. First I discovered that many use adhesive to stay on, I'm alergic to all adhesives :(, Next I had problems with the fact that I move too much and the tube would disconnect from the bag. The final problem I had is I'm as well as latex allergic, I allergic to silicones, and most every plastic used in medical applications. So I would not recogmend them, but to each his own. :crybaby:

  9. About 4 years ago my wife and I were hit head on and both were transported to the local hospital. I had just left the dentist with was actually adding insult to injury, and I was as always wearing a tena-super with an attends and a pair of plastic pants over that. When we were hit my neuro-stimulator discharged causing my bladder to empty fully completly soaking my diapers. After X-rays were taken and my right wrist and thumb were set in a cast as they were broken in the crash, I was changed into a clean diaper. They weren't bad prevail over nights if I remember right, not a good as what I had on but okay until I got to my parents house as they got my diaper bag from my car. I guess it all depends on the hospital. Most that I have worken in have no problem supplying them when needed.

  10. I have three that I go between, all three from bulid a bear. I have a leopard named Aldriech in cloth diapies and plastic pants, a snow leopard names Lena she in a disposable, and a halloween bear named Beri-scary, she in cloth diapies too, but they are all very soft and fun to sleep with. There are wearing diapies cos I don't want to be the only one in the house wearing diapies :)

  11. Last week, tuesday I was fired and i'm already tried of looking for a new job. Looking at how fast they've advertised my old job, it looks almost like they had getting rid of me planned. So I continue looking, have had some good news as I might be accepted into a teaching job, it's only part-time but I'm looking to go back to school anyways for my masters in nursing education. So I'll just have to see what come up. :badmood:

  12. Hi Rozi, nice to meet you and I'm glad that you have found a partner who accept you for who you are. I too am incontinent due to nerve dammage and an ab for fun. I am married and have a very loving wife who accept me and my problems. Welcome to Daily Diapers and I hope you have fun make many friends. :)

  13. If you think state insurance is bad try dealing with the Veteran Adminstration. It too me almost 5 years for them to recognize that my incontinence was service connected and then another 2 to determin that diapers were the most effective way to deal with it. Now after 7 years of fighting they will re-emburse me for my diapers, but the form are insane, and they pay you back almost a month after they get them.
