  1. Get an appointment with a urologist but until you see him just wear 24/7 try Abena level 2 air briefs or plastic back I currently use Abena M2 airs for my day time protection, I have the same issue as you no real warnings some times so it's better to be protected and still try to make it to the bathroom when you can but if you can't it's good to know you are protected. You realy have to look close to see I am wearing the, when they are dry, but when wet they do have a bulge in front, but I wear a longer t shirt. I have decided not to try the meds due to the potential side effects but that's my choice and we all have to decide how to handle our conditions, I guess the tipping point for me on the decision not to take meds was the urologist was to excited to get me into the case study and the potential side effects and the fact I probably wouldn't know the med version I was taking at any given time to keep the case study unbiased See you see the doctor listen to his or her advice and then make your decision on your next steps in treatment, but don't delay in seeking medical advice.
  2. Other then my wife and doctor no one new I had to wear 24/7 but last week I finaly had an appointment with an urologist and was diagnosed with OAB, I have created a backpack with supplies for the car and decided to let the rest of my family know about my condition. Only my wife, mom and dad, brother and sister inlaw and doctor will know for now the benifit of letting them know is I can now leave my diapers in a easy to get to place and don't have to worry if some one opens the storage closet and finds my supplies It has also lifted a cloud that was hanging over my head that they would find out at the wrong time. Since yours and mine condition is medical and not self induced there is nothing to be ashamed about and your close family and friends that you tell should be supportive Just remember it's not if they find out its when and telling them in a controlled environment at home is better then having and accident at their place or out in public and you need to go change. If they already know they will under stand you need to change and will give you the time and space to do so and will carry in when you get back like nothing out of the ordinary happened
  3. I have had no issues with my Dry 24/7's The only time I had a small leak was whe I was laying on my side but that's normal for most disposable diapers from what I am told. I will be ordering a second case later this week as for wicking they seem fine you may have gotten a bad batch, contact The supplier and Dry 24/7 directly and let them know what's happening and the batch number they will probably send you a replacement shipment and request several samples from your current batch. I have tried Abena M4,s for night time as I use the M2 for daytime but I find the dry 24/7 sizing feels better for night time use,
  4. Wearing 24/7 is not as big of a deal as you think it is after short time it will become second nature and even if you don't use the protection all the time it's nice to know it's there as a just incase, it takes all the stress and worry away that you won't make it to the bathroom in time. It is a big step to admit you need 24/7 but it will feel like a small one very quickly, I don't even think about wareing in public any more and it's only been a few months wearing 24/7 but a few weeks wearing full Abena M2 diapers as I started out using Depents real fit for men. Try wearing 24/7 you will be glad you did when you have your first issue while out
