This morning was a bit of a mystery....I was wet when I woke up, but I don't 100% remember if I woke during the night to do it or not....maybe? Either way, I'm giving myself credit for it on my chart!
Absolutely

So what's it feel like? I assume some of you know nothing of when you void, but I'm sure others have some sort of sensation down there when your body is doing its thing. .
Do you feel like you hafta go, and then it just happens? Or do you only notice when you're already going, or wet?
I'm still on the path of achieving bladder incontinence, but, I think it would help me along if I knew what I was supposed to feel (or not feel) or be conscious of what I want to happen and what my body is doing. .
Incontinence feels wet

I l9ved being a bedwetter growing up and never made any attempt to become dry at night. My folks thought I was dirty and lazy to be honest they were right but just didn't care. The perks for me were that it was just expected I would wet the bed so I never dissapointed anyone. I just peed in my bed if I woke in the night and went back to sleep, though most nights I just peed in my sleep.
I never saw bedwetting as a problem. I realised most k8ds were dry at night by 6 or 7 and some maybe 10 or a bit older but so what. My cousin didn't get dry at night until he was 17. I had a great uncle who wet his whole life and they were my role models. If it was OK for them it was fine by me.
My folks just gave up trying to get me dry at night although they did go on a bit when my cousin finally stopped wetting the bed.

I don't regret it at all.
I go into another UNIVERSE while I sleep.
Since by body knows just to use my diaper, and since I don't wake up to pee, my dreams are that much more vivid and detailed.
And I achieve great quality of sleep. This is not a problem for me at all, and hopefully any future partners will understand.
I know all about the vivid dreams once wet. I subconsciously know during my dreams

I don't mind being urinary incontinent one bit but couldn't cope with messing my self.

I’m currently in that gray area of it being an established habit or not. I can go a week without wetting at night, or have three times in a week. Totally random. Gotta wait it out I guess and keep going.
Making wetting at night a habit whether in your sleep or deliberately if you wake is the key.

I always slept deeply as a kid and just peed in my sleep. I do now.

So I’ve seen a lot of posts about people’s journeys to becoming bedwetters. In most of them, I see people write about it being a long process just to even get to the point of being comfortable wetting while in bed and then an even longer process (sometimes years) of wetting while asleep.
That has not been my experience. I started wearing diapers to bed full time a few months ago and I have already progressed to a point where I am now wetting without waking up a few times a week. I am not sure if I’ll still wet even if I sleep without a diaper, but at this point I don’t want to risk the extra laundry. This is much quicker than what others have shared. I guess I am wondering if this might be because I wet the bed as a kid? Specifically, I wet the bed until I was 15. I am now almost 28, so that means for the majority of my life I have worn diapers to bed. I am wondering if maybe my subconscious mind is still used to the idea of me wetting the bed so I have been able to more quickly slip back into wetting in my sleep than others. Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t feel like I’m doing anything extra other than wearing to bed and wetting when I feel the need.
I suspect you are right

I recently had a vascular appointment at our local hospital hospital nothing to do with my incontinence and didn't expect to have to strip off. I was wearing a tena maxi slip, padded in co pants and some drylife plastic pants. The guy had a young student nurse with him. They were both very professional and only at the end of the examination did the doctor mention my protection. He just matter of factly explained to the student nurse that being diabetic I was most likely incontinent. I just told him yes for almost 12 years. Nothing more was said.

Best thing I ever did was going 24/7. All most 12 years in nappies and couldn't be happier.

would be nice and would have saved me the embarrassment of soaking a hotel bed a few weeks ago when my diaper leaked and somehow my got though my terry lined pants 🤣.
So a few updates starting with statistics.
It appears I didn't update for July so here were my July stats:- 23/31 days woke up with a wet bed and don't recall waking up to pee.
- 4 other nights woke up realizing I was wetting. Was able to fall back asleep (somehow!) in the wet bed. This before starting training would have never happened.
- 4 completely dry nights. No indications of all of a wet diaper, not even really needed to pee in the morning. Just dry nights which I'm good with as it didn't interrupt my sleep.
- Spent 3 nights in a hotel in July. 3 soaked diapers and one night sheets! By far my most embarrassing night yet. Thankfully the hotel had mattress protectors. I just requested no house keeping, picked up fresh sheets from the front desk and left the old one in the hall. They were gone within a few hours.
And for August:
- 25/31 nights soaked without waking up. No recollection of waking up to pee either.
- 3 nights waking up wetting. One night was not able to return to sleep easily.
- 3 completely dry nights.
I no longer pee in the bed during the day time. I stopped this some time ago to cut down on laundry and free up more of my time. If I feel my progress has slipped I will go back to it but I don't think at this point that's going to be an issue. To say I'm past the point of no return is an understatement at this point. No daytime accidents to note.
This has all been my experience, has anyone else tried the extreme training methods I used to get to this point? Hoping others are able to share in the success! The main thing is are you happy you have become the bedwetter you wanted to be.

My progress so far,
I've been able to wake, pee, go back to sleep for a while now.
After I wake for the day, I'll lie there and let whatever is left in my bladder out and enjoy the sensations afterwards.
I'm noticing when I do that, I get a strange feeling in the front of my pelvic floor, kinda like a tired muscle.
Has anyone else experienced something like that?
I have that feeling all the time

Im taking a diuretic to deal with a heart problem and edema. I also take another prescription med at night that makes me sleep like a baby. If I made the effort not to pee the bed these days Id be up two or three times during the night. So I just dont make the effort. A good nights sleep is more important to me than being dry in the morning.
Totally agree sleep is more important.

Well, high time I updated this thread. Today marks one year since I have been wearing diapers. One year to the day....my how time flies. It's been quite an adventure complete with travels, leaks, diaper changes, cutting up underwear, and much, much more. Control has dropped significantly, but not to the degree the 12 month would suggest. But there have been major changes for sure. But, most importantly, it just feels correct. Like this is how I'm supposed to be. 1 year down....many to go.
I know just what you mean about how you are supposed to be. I feel so much happier in nappies and it just feels right. I genuinely love being incontinent and dependant on nappies. I especially love my nightly bedwetting. I couldn't imagine being dry at night again.

Yes, but it was an awake wetting (awake enough to remember starting) although I don't remember thinking if I should hold it. Basically awoke conscious of feeling full and let it go without thinking about it.
The other scenarios are:
A) wetting totally in my sleep (not even remembering it, having to morning check of my diaper to see whether or not I wet etc)
Not wetting at all (totally dry in the morning)
Not really tracking but most nights are either like last night (half-awake) or (A) true sleep wetting.
Maybe once every couple of weeks I'll wake in the AM totally dry- that's very rare despite that I empty my bladder right before bed every night.
I can't remember the last totally dry morning.

Did you wet the bed or at least wet your nappy while in bed last night? I did as usual.

Plenty of people post that they have achieved the level of dependancy that they set out to achieve: many 24/7 wearers would not class themselves as truely incontinent but are happy knowing that they effectively "need" their diapers and therefore no longer have to justify their wearing of them.
What I think is more interesting is for those people to share what they feel about their status now that they have achieved it. Is is something that still gives them pleasure/satisfaction/security? Is it something they wish they had done earlier? Is it something they recommend to others?
Being incontinent gives me immense pleasure I have no idea why but honestly I am a much calmer happier person since becoming dependant on nappies. I am not about to recommend anyone goes down this journey that has to be a personal decision but I have no regrets whatsoever.

Honestly I think you are unlikely to remove the stain entirely. Baking soda will help though.

Yes, if you read in some of my stories , my brother and step, shared an unprotected king bed, and it was peed on every night . I had my on bed in the same room because I had stopped peeing the bed. When everyone was out I would strip and get in there still wet bed, and roll around in it I was 10-11 so I didn't know what was happening , but I know I Loved it and so did my penis , I was hard as a rock in seconds I humped the bed, I used the wet blanket to rub on him etc, I want that wet smelly bed back sooooo bad.....
I had my first massive mind blowing orgasm humping my wet bed one morning when I was about 13. Bedwetting took on a whole new experience after that.

I just love being a bedwetter. Waking up wet makes me happy and contented. I don't know why but for being a nightly bedwetter feels absolutely right
