    Okay, so for the past 7 years I've bought the same brand and model of dummy from the same store. A few weeks ago I walked into said store with the intent of buying a new pack of dummies as my most recent one was beginning to taste strange. I picked up a pack on special (yay) and returned home.

    A half-decent latex dummy won't have a taste, NUK dummies are infamous for coming out of the package abrasive and horrid-tasting.

    I wouldn't try to fix your dummy, glues can be toxic and if the teat falls off then you have a serious choking hazard.
