  1. When I was 10 yrs old we went to live with my dad, step mom, on a very old 1800's farm, we had a well and if we did our laundry with the automatic washer, it ran the well dry, it was about 10 ft deep, so we used an old Maytag tub washer with the ringers, and we washed all of the Family clothes in One tub of water, it looked like mud, then re filled to rinse, there were 7 kids and then parents . I had a job of getting my dad up at 5am, and I had to go to the basement and start the pump and prime it to get water in the tank, just to make coffee, and at that age that basement was a scary place, but I remembered the way the house was built, they had skinned the trees and put them across the cement walls of the basement to make the floor they were still round. It had a coal furnace that my dad had converted to kerosine and when it got below zero out the line froze up, so he used a propane torch to thaw it out, and that heater only kept the house at about 40-50 degrees, still had ice on the windows. That's where my 2 brothers had the king bed that was pee soaked, 24/7     pee soaked  through the box spring and to the floor. There was a corn field close to us, and there were times we didn't have toilet paper or food for that matter. I can remember using corn cobs to wipe my ass, they don't work well at all, but better than leaves...

We had a large garden that us kids had to work as part of our chores, as to using a dual blade axe to cook fire wood, timber trees to let them dry out we had a large fireplace, it was hand built with rocks and even had a piece of petrified wood in it.. the house had no insulation. Oh it had a bathroom but we couldn't use the toilet very much because the septic tank was stopped up soo much so you go out and just do what you need to do...

Its too bad because that house really could have been soo nice in later yrs, but living with a complete house of the adult all drunks it was kinda hell in a lot of ways..

Check into ROKU.  We got it because of the high cable bill and it's very cost effective and we get hundreds of old TV shows and movies as well as Youtube on the ROKU TV.

Thanks I will check it out, we have Apple TV, and a ROKU thats 5 plus yrs old,  we haven't used them up here, due to slow internet...The channels I have looked at on Apple have commercials..

  4. I can't get out of bed at all without coffee, because the fresh beans and dark coffees re supposed to be better on acid reflux, that I have lived with for 30 yrs, I use it now and Petes brand is one of the ones I do like. But it the old drip way for me, we grind the beans and set it up the night beforehand nd my wife is up before me, so she will push the button for me..I have been looking 👀 into cheaper full bean coffees but for now thats it. I also had to go fully gluten free and my inside have been soooooooooo much better, but trying to get gluten free that I can eat with No teeth is very hard..

Its coffee,,, snack,,, pain meds then I can get awake and this takes 2-3 hrs....

No, I just did a Google search and many places cropped up.  This was one that had lower prices than what you had mentioned.

I have to wait now because of money issues, but if they still have them 6 months from now I need to add these to my home cable list...I saved the site, so I thank you for looking 👀... I can get the cheaper one and see how it goes then later on after that get the other...

See we don't have any cable tv, or streaming we can't afford it. I would rather buy and own, than pay to watch tv

  6. Unfortunately I have to buy all I can from second hand,, but lately that's dried up, and I am forced to use cheap Prevail with a doubler also cheap. for daytime and I have stocked up over the last yr on some good finds at second hand, Secure plastic backed Nice,,, and I still have some Northshore I also got 6 months or so ago that I use as sparingly as I can but I get lucky and find some that I mix different almost every night with a couple layers of cloth etc etc..If I can get any Northshore or more of my onesies I will ask him again for that link.. but I am always on the lookout or $4 a pack stuff I can use for layers. I told my wife as tight as we are, I may have to just put down layers of towels, cotton stuff on my spare bed and start sleeping there with no diaper or a cheap one...Hang it out to dry and put it back to use again...Our fire ins taxes medicare everything and a new $450 windshield has been a part of the past few months and etc and I don't want to ask what's next, I didn't list all of it, if we don't cut at least $300 a month somewhere we are gonna be living on credit cards with no way to pay them off ever..

  7. Thanks I will see if I can do anything to help, this site is a good friend making with like minded people, I depend on this site for my pastime being disabled, and I wouldn't be able to use it if it became full pay site, so I hope we can keep it safe and going as donations site....

  8. I have only donated a few times, I know money is tight for all, we have had a really rough yrs to say 10 yrs, rough. Trying to figure out how to pay the bills here just to keep food and the lights on, I have never been able to afford nice diapers like some. But I have a question how will the site donations show up on credit card? I haven't looked when I did donate. Not hiding that from my wife, just wandering.

  9. If you also Google the images of the things Little Sherri said, you can compare them with your legs, you maybe able to have a little more help, I have psoriasis, and that is generally hereditary, so if your family has ever had signs of this, there's a good chance your gonna have it in you life, and anything will be worse in the moist places like diapered and any part of our bodies that don't get air, Like said letting it dry out and keep it clean etc, is there anything you can lay down on with the irritation part in open air? and can soak up pee underneath you, say for a few hrs a day. Now in the pic I can't tell if the skin is broken? if its not broken and you haven't tried, I get hydrocortisone ointment from my skin cancer Dr, I get 400 gm jar a month , but this can't be applied to broken and bleeding skin, it will make it worse...

I do agree with all that has already been said, just my 2 cent worth..

    But don't let it go

  10. I have a lot of old TV shows, but I wish they wouldn't charge soo much, I am looking for In the Heat of the night, I have the 4 volume collection. But the whole series is $250 plus, and Barnaby Jones is in the same price range.. We seldom ever use standard TV, and hate commercials, since we have gotten soo spoiled over the yrs. I figure why pay cable when you can buy the shows and watch them when I want not when they say..

My experience using boosters is the same. There seem to be more leaks but I think it is a cuter look as the diaper looks poofier.

I can't see my behind , I do like it when the front and crotch gets soo puffy. And the back get puffy, but I haven't looked until I take it off...

I've read in the forums some members reasons for double diapering.  Some do it just for the super thick feeling so they can waddle.  Some I've read will do it so they can just keep the first diaper, the one next to their skin, on for all day, 2 days or however long they decide.  The urine will migrate into the second diaper, so when the second diaper eventually gets soaked, they just change that one and keep the first soaked, wet and/or messy diaper on.  Soak and repeat and probably end up with a very painful and infected diaper rash.

Before I started ordering premium diapers like Abena, Trest and Betterdry diapers on line, I would use the lower end store brand diapers I get at Goodwill when I went out of town for the day Christmas shopping or running errands.  One diaper would last about 3 hours before I needed to change.  It's not very discreet trying to take a fresh diaper into a store or fast food restroom when needing to change.  Instead I would double diaper with the lower end diapers, not cutting slits in the inner diaper.  That way when I needed to change, all I had to do was go into any restroom to do so.  Since I was double diapered, I already had a dry diaper on along with my wet one.  I just pulled down the dry outer diaper, removed and tossed away my wet inner diaper and pulled up the totally dry remaining diaper like regular underpants.  Quick, easy and I didn't have to figure out a way of discreetly bringing a fresh diaper into a restroom with me without being noticed.

Now I just use a premium diaper for those out of town Christmas shopping trips.

When I traveled for work, I would use a good plastic backed diaper and put inside good baby diapers and I could pull out the baby diaper while I was still driving and put that in a bag on the seat, and put in a new one, the outer one did get a little pee, but that's why I had it .. I had on only coveralls so I had pocket openings made to put your hands in your pant pockets they were lose fit, on purpose.....

  13. Of course they can't force anything on employees but they say that Japan employees use diapers and are proud of it, because it does increase productivity... That's a job I would have wanted to work, If they paid you for the diapers but enough diapers for 24/7 Usage..

  14. I use the cheaper diapers , For my night diapers.  I get a big part of my night stuff from second hand, so its cheap, so I use an XL outer, and then what ever I can get for inside, it takes practice to make them drain into the middle of the next layer. I cut several long slits in each layer and it will last a good 12 plus hrs at least for me. If I am Lucky, like a month ago I got some LG nice plastic backed diapers, and with that as my outer layer, I don't even need to put on plastic pants... But I will use a Prevail heavy with a doubler for daytime, and sometimes I will use 2 of them, depends n the day..

  15. My boosters are narrow that I use in my daytime pull ups, and they make leaks less, so maybe yours is too wide? Mine still don't make pee go all the way to the back unless I am standing with lose clothes on...if sitting down they will still leak in the middle.

  16. I am also trying to become a full bed wetter with or without diapers, and I have worn 24/7 for years, but if awake up I try to make sure my mind is relaxed and let go, I have peed without knowing, just want to be able to do that at the drop of a hat,,lol..

Bad storm here last night as well... power only flickered for a moment though.

I do have a generator of course, but it's a heavy bastard and rather not have to drag it out only to have power come back minutes later.   I too am putting solar on my shed, but finding out that it's really too shady in that spot.  I've had the panel connected now since this past Sunday and it's still only added about 10% charge to the batteries.  So now I'm thinking of running wires all the way up to the house so I can put the panel on the garage roof which stays in the sun pretty much all day.   Otherwise, I just need to finish running the heavy gauge wires from the batteries to the inverter.  But still waiting on a few components.

    image.png

I'm not sure where you live, I put the solar on my shed due to many reasons, one is the city etc will cause me problems with it on the house, it has to be put in by a lic contractor and tied in to the main power and the lease options suck here, and I don't have $25k to put in solar that has to be taken off the roof when the roof needs repair, and with a lease its hard to sell a house here...But the shed is not a living space, so I have had no problems yet. I found that when I used an A/C inverter I had too much loss, I am thinking 🤔 of looking for more efficient ones , but as long as I can keep the 12v so we can do all of the charging and I have my other, Source of a YETI 3000X to use for a few 120v things we are ok for a day. I keep that plugged in to charge 24/7 so it's always ready. We can't cool off the house etc, our water heater is gas, so we always have that , I would love to have the home generator that is a natural gas hook up and switches on auto itself, the moneys the issue here, I could take out a second or refi to pay for solar, but the more I read about it the less I want, I would still love to put up a good wind generator to add to things with more batteries for that. We have a lot of wind, and I think a good unit would give great charging here. I have thought about making a patio cover full of solar?  I have concerns with more weight on our roof, because when we get a ft or more of snow that adds to the pressure on the roof, and the only solar we can put on the roof as I was told by a contractor is the china cheap crap, it probably won't last 25 yrs like the old stuff. ??? The contractors made ours for snow but not snow plus solar. I have looked into that part, it was some fly by night I guess, they worked by rules from a different county? that never sees snow, I don't know for sure but that's what I have been told the roof beams are 2x4 not 2x6, and thats the whole roof. Our last home was in a non snow city, and we had 2x6 roof frame.

    Oh well.Sorry my soap box.

I will add when our power is out it's usually from a fire up in the surrounding mountains, rarely from a storm...When the wind is too bad they will shut us off to keep from sparking up there, and mean while we pay a monthly fee so they can put sensors up there so a computer will shut us off..

  18. I don't remember seeing diapers at school, but I do remember seeing kids peeing in the seat when they couldn't make it to the bathroom..

  19. AT&T is still on copper up in the mountain city here, a company called Race, has been putting in Fiber, for the past 2 yrs, they say its up to speed, but its the best thing up here, we had it for a while then we went to T mobile, phones, and they gave us a 5G wireless internet, and its slower than they say, but for half the price we are dealing with it. We want to go back to race, when they bring in the cheaper one its $8o for 1G, and a really slow one for a cheaper price, but they plan to offer a half gig later, and that will be more affordable...

  20. I hope you have a way to keep food cold, and lights and important to have your computer for the DD connection.. Hope it comes back on sooner than they say.

We live in the mountains So we have prepared somewhat, we have a big lithium battery we got from the power company Free, if your disability makes you need power, like if you sleep with oxygen or a CPAP etc, they will give it to you free, and its a $3k to 4K price tag, check it out... We also have a smaller old gas generator, but it's a 1800watt and noisy, so thats a last resort. But I have been over the past 5 yrs putting in a panel at a time of solar on my shed, and I ran the bling inside so we have 12 vols and I have put in a lot of adapters like you use in a car, so we can keep our phones etc anything you charge up with a USB. I am wanting to add a smaller wind generator, but my body won't let me do much work anymore, so that hasn't gotten done yet.....

Nice pic. A good wetting soaks the bed from my knees to my pillow.

I already made a comment, but I would have such a Hard time being in a diaper in that bed, to have a soaked bed like that is a dream of mine, I love diapers but would totally soak a bed every night if my wife liked the smells in the house, I have a spare bedroom I use for play with a twin bed for what ever I want to play with. And I want soo bad to make it a layered cotton cloth etc to soak and smell. The mattress is an invocare hospital one so its fully safe..

If they call again, ask them how much they charge to get rid of themselves.

I have to agree with you, I was trying to be nice to the guy, but he just kept saying well what if we did this or that, like the last thing he asked was if we agree to have a delayed payment for 6 months??  I just don't want to get back into a contract with any bug company.....

I had to laugh at your comment also..

  23. I hate it when my sleep time is interrupted , I sleep my best in the mornings, since I still fight insomnia, so I really get it. But its a funny thing I just got off the phone canceling my pest Service and then I see this..We got hooked into a 2yr contract with them, and can't afford it they had a really really good sales guy , and back then I had called to cancel, but they had a very large over $200 fee if we didn't keep it, so I got them to go down to the one yr, and it took me 20-30 minutes to get the guy to cancel....
