  1. Some neat side effects of bladder tapping. 1. I had some involuntary squirts. 2. The feeling of milking the bladder, feeling the urine flow out with each press of my fingers on the bladder, is both addictive and so pleasurable. That alone makes this technique fun to do over and over again. 3. I had a bout of stress incontinence that I have NEVER had before. I bent over to pick something up and felt a gush of pee as my stomach put pressure on the bladder. on doing some research, I discovered this is an offshoot of the Credé maneuver, which can be dangerous long term as putting heavy pressure on the bladder can cause issues. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/procedures/crede-maneuver this is a safer method of stimulation.
  2. So, not doing the excessive holds, but I have to say, this a lot of fun. Tapping the bladder to force the spasms feels nice. The squirts as the sphincter gives way is also incredible. There have also been a few involuntary after-urination spurts that are either urine left in the urethra expelling on its own, or the bladder continuing to contract a few minutes after the jabbing finishes due to the flood. I’ll report back if it bears fruit after doing it often through the day. The only thing I don’t like is that to the outside viewer, it might look like I am masturbating poking my bladder, but it is a neat feeling. I wonder if an electric massager would accomplish the same effect. In Britain they have something called the “the queen” which was actually developed along the same lines as this exercise and it’s supposed to help with urinary retention. Specifically as an alternative to catheterization. you all might notice I did a foray into stents which I regret. Not because of my errors and trials, but because I frightened one of our great innovators and posters with a picture of the failed stent. Out of respect for him, I am going to stay away from that method of incontinence and go back to the long haul method. i have noticed when I keep my bladder “open” I constantly feel like I need to pee, even when I don’t. I don’t know if this is just what the “drop” is supposed to feel like and then over time it becomes less noticeable? i am also confused because of the dichotomy maintain that open state, which requires concentration, and “ignore your bladder.” Additionally, I read reverse kegels will actually give more control and not less. Are these reverse kegals we are doing by maintaining that “drop” feeling? Glad to see the app is helpful 😁
  3. Thanks for the video. I am amazed you were able to maneuver it without any help from a “pushing” tool. Also shocked you could fit your finger in the urethra opening of the meatus.
  4. Two things, first you’ve always said it experimental and two the photo makes seem worse than it actually is. as I said, I think the problem was lack of proper lubricant. It didn’t even sting when I urinated after the retrieval. all that all that being said, I am eager to try again. before that I need to make sure I order a lot of lubricant figure out what piping to use inside. The one was too big and the second probably too small.

  6. @cathdiapor at anyone else. I noticed in one of the photo dumps, that someone uses a traced model to replicate the stent. i am going to try to make cathidaps model, but wanted to see if there was a pdf or word document that one could print to try to match angles. I realize the catheter will need to be adjusted based on my personal anatomy, but it would be nice for a starting point.
  7. Well, good news/bad news. I purchased a leather hole punch and 4mm brass beads. I punched a hole 7 inches from the tip of the catheter (2.4 mm hole). Unfortunately, I punctured the fill line so I couldn’t inflate the balloon and I don’t have a third catheter to experiment with. still, I thought “why not at least see if the concept works. I inserted the brass bead into the hole and worked it down half an inch from the hole so that it would force the urine out the hole instead of down the catheter. I then plugged the bottom of the catheter for good measure. I lubed it up with the catheter tray lubricant and inserted all the way in, and it did go smoothly, no irritation or blood, but, no urine. Not a drop. so I thought maybe the hole has to decend a little for the hole to be below the prostrate. I literally stood over my diaper and let the catheter slowly come out on its own with nothing coming out. I then sat on the toilet and proceeded to urinate. that’s the good news at least. No burning of the urethra. bottom line. What gives!!!?? How low does the hole need to be to work and how wide does the aperture need to be? Is 14fr too big and the wall of the urethra is simply hugging the catheter too snugly to allow the holes to empty?
  8. Interesting. Do you use a leather punch to get such a clean hole? does the lack of 8 cm impair the length? Wouldn’t an erection pull on the balloon and lead to damage?
  9. It’s just sore now. The urethra burn has subsided a great deal. I am grateful it only took 12 hours. Is that something that will happen every time the catheter is removed or only if you cause some sort of trauma? i used sewing sheers to cut the silicon foley (14fr). Is there a good method to create the hole (s) that won’t lead to urethral irritation? Also, is it possible that 14fr is still too big?
  10. So, I tied the holey foley, with a hole cut 5 inches from the tip. After insertion the catheter, drained, as one would expect out of the hole at the bottom of the catheter. When I plugged the hole, nothing came out at all. I am wondering if the whole should be further down than 5 inch Like an idiot, I decided to cut two additional holes lower than one. As it cleared the prostate a riant blood came out of the catheter. That may be normal but I was too frightened to risk it so I did not even inflate it and pulled it out. Now I’m in agony every time I urinate. That, too, maybe normal
  11. For those using the modified catheter, how does it work in relation to the urine in catheter? Won’t that cause bacteria growing inside the tube? Are you able to “weld” the catheter closed under the hole?
  12. Thank you! I will give that a try. my issue has always been trying to get past the need for steady state urination. I can urinate in any position given enough time to relax, but if I change positions such as going from walking to sitting, to stopping the walk etc. It resets the process and I have to regain that relaxed state to release in that new position. the problem is trying to figure out a way to train a, for all intents and purposes, an incontinence parkour of continuously switching movements and positions at different timed intervals and still release. i can urinate while running, while walking while going up and down stairwells, on my back, while driving, side (still difficult) belly (takes longer) but only when I am doing the respective action for longer than 60-300 seconds. i am hoping doing that massage tactic will help in this regard for training.

  15. 1st world problems 😅 i am not long enough to have it do that. It’s one of the issues if not being very well endowed is that the penis tends to go wherever it wants and therefore the spray can cause a leak if it decides to point at a leg gather. tucking has caused it to nestle downwards predominantly and after the first flow, the diaper expansion keeps it pointing that general direction instead of drifting back up into the free form position. it would be nice to tuck with assistance of a belt or what @secretdesiresuggests so that I didn’t have to walk carefully so as to not untuck.

  17. As someone with a large urine output I vouch for the mega inspire. I sometimes have to go through 2 bettedrys in a night, so I need the added capacity. since it’s also my daytime diaper I can concur that if I wasn’t wearing a onsie to hold it up, I would have issues. But it can handle several large surges. megamax for me doesn’t fit as well and the diaper feels wet against my skin, particular at the gathers. After a year with rearz I can say they are safely the best diaper for me. I just buy in bulk when they have a major sale when the diapers are $2 or less a piece.

So, I have noticed over the last couple of days that a integral part of the process is “water balancing” by drinking essentially what I am emptying every time I empty I am keeping the factory moving in the body to produce more urine. This has led to wettings every ten or so minutes when I am focusing and leading to this big number wetting days. It also helps to drink water when I am struggling to relax as it mentally seems to push out the old and welcome the new. not sure if it’s my bladder or my dog waking me, but I am also going 4 times a night usually, albeit awake when doing so. i just wish when the urge hit it would just GO instead of me mentally having to relax and focus on open state. It takes between 15 seconds and 3 minutes of focus for the bladder spasm to occur and the wetting to start once I focus. I just don’t always have 3 minutes to focus on starting the flow. for example, let’s say I am walking, I want to wet while walking but I have to focus on relaxed tone as the urges hits. I often get where I am going before the spasm hits and have to pace around until it goes. I am unable to release when changing positions rapidly. So if I am walking to my car, I might be able to pee on the way to the car, but often I make it to the car before it releases. Then once I sit down I have to refocus and it becomes a seated car wetting with focus as opposed to a walking wetting with focus. I look forward to the day, IF IT EVER COMES, when I can release immediately on urge. these smaller voids have made all this practice possible. I am rarely worried about floods or leaks in general due to trust in my diaper and my “diaper shorts”/onsie combo.10 years of diaper dependency but I only feel i am now making progress. Maybe it took that long to get comfortable to pee while driving, while walking, while running. I just have ti focus on relaxed tone each time. For bed, I can go on my back no problem. On my side and on my stomach the pressure really has to mount before the bladder releases for some reason. heres hoping the balancing trick continues.

  20. Wish I had that capacity and the ability to just release on command. Sometimes that happens, but more often I have to focus and relax my body until it releases. the photos attached are my progress thus far on how many wettings per day. On days when I can focus, and hydrate appropriately, it’s always around 18-26 (barring one-offs like January 26). But on days that are work heavy in the sense of meetings which happen primarily on Monday - Wednesday I see a precipitous drop. I am not drinking that much less in that time, but my mind is focused on work.

Hence the catch 22 for some of us. if I don’t focus; I will go hours and hours without peeing. this leads to a full bladder that can overwhelm a diaper. this leads to inner fear of leaks which aggravates the “holding” pattern. i have tried to combat it with thicker diapers like rearz mega diapers, but it’s still a issues. Currently I am trying to pee as often as I can to train less capacity in the bladder with the eventual hope of not thinking about it once the bladder is trained to need to per every 30-60 minutes.

  23. THIS!!! You’re not alone. 14 years here and I am very much still in the same boat as you. Sometimes I can just wet the moment I get the urge, but more often I have to focus on relaxing and this can take, as you said, minutes, which is why if I am not fastidiously focusing I can have hour go by with not wettings. this hesitancy or shy bladder is beyond annoying as there is no structure, no obstruction or anything physical causing the sphincter to remain closed. Sometimes I have to picture undulating waves moving down the urethra to visualize it open. Other times I have to make my right eye crosseyed to relax. i have tried the suffocation method and it didn’t help either… would love advice lol
