  1. Tim Allen, you mean? I'd love to hear THAT story--how on earth did you meet him?
  2. It doesn't leak onto the sheet when you do that?
  3. Weren't those great? I loved that they had elastic at the legs AND waist, which made them easy to pull up and pull down when I was near enough to a toilet to use one. In other words, they had the look of a diaper and the ease of a pull-up (yet unlike a pullup, had tapes).
  4. I see doctors quite frequently, so there have been numerous experiences in which medical personnel have seen my diaper. The only truly embarrassing one, however, occurred in 1995.
  5. Ever since I first came to this forum, I've been curious about one thing. Those of you who wear cloth diapers, is there a particular folding method you prefer? I found the "jelly roll" fold (as shown here:
  6. I love the diapers she makes, and hope she will continue making them for a long time to come. I'm happy that she's doing so well, and I'm not surprised. Quality will tell.
  7. I'm harder to define. I fit the category of modern toddler girl pretty well, albeit one who still needs diapers due to disability. However, I do also like pacifiers, which would put me firmly in the modern baby girl category. I suppose what I am depends largely on mood.
  8. In my younger days. I would change on the floor. But age, a series of injuries which makes getting on my knees painful, and the fact I no longer have a carpeted floor on which to change have forced me to alter my methods somewhat. The method that works best for me is to lie on my back with my legs dangling over the edge of my bed. If the diaper is off-center, I stand up (supporting myself with one hand) and adjust the diaper until it's where it needs to be. I then lie back down and tape the diaper on.
  9. They used to, through their Home Health Care catalog, but I never liked them much. They had a soaker in the center that looked and felt as though it were made out of some denim-like material, and were distressingly uncomfortable for a cloth diaper (not very soft, regardless of how you washed them). They seemed, at least to me, to be very institutional and not much like real diapers at all. Not that it matters, really, since they were discontinued about ten years ago. I think they can still be found on ebay, though.
  10. Wearing an Attends, but will very soon change into my Rearz cloth diaper for the night.
  11. I first discovered there were others like me through--of all things--the Ann Landers column. This must have been when I was in my late teens or early twenties, way before there was any such thing as the internet. A man wrote in saying he liked being treated like a baby by his wife. She'd feed him, bathe him and change his diapers, he said. It was here that I first came across the word "infantilism."
  12. Hello from another AB transwoman--I'm delighted to see more of us here. I transitioned in my mid-thirties, though I'd known I was trans almost as long as I'd known I was an AB--since about age 11 or so. If you're involved in trans activism, chances are we've corresponded online at one time or another--I myself was heavily involved in the trans community for a brief time.
  13. I don't often change in public, and when I do I look for a unisex or single-stall restroom if possible. I don't go out of my way to be seen in a diaper, and would be mortified if I ever were.
  14. I never precisely timed it, but I've wet within thirty seconds of taping my diaper. On average, though, I'd say about fifteen minutes.
  15. When I became incontinent at the age of thirty, the first thing I did, actually, was to buy cloth baby diapers. Gerber 27X27 flat birdseye diapers, to be specific, which I wore four at a time. (If only I could be that thin again). Plastic pants were impossible to find, so I used trash bags.
  16. Yes, I do wear diapers to the movies--being incontinent pretty much makes it a necessity--but I seldom go to the movies because of the outrageous cost involved. Most likely I'll wait until the movie is out on pay-per-view. Then I can pause it when I have to change....
  17. Same here, I fit the AB (Adult Little Girl, really) DL
