That may be - I've only been through one pack (16 units) of Bellissimo, so could very well be variation across lots.

At home - no clothes over the diaper itself - I do enjoy the close fit that certain clothing provides when worn over a diaper, but I also really love to see and hear my diapers.

A recent observation - I noticed when I purchased my first order of Bellissimos that the gathered waistband, while somewhat functional, does not exhibit a great deal of stretch.
