  1. I know youtube has some, but anyone with direct links to Depends commercials from over the years, please post.
  2. Fuzzytiggy - Your experience is a common one of guys of our time, so to speak. You said you're 31, I'm 29 and wou'd have grown up in a similar time as you, and if we were raised in similar regions, more specifically North American suburbs, then there's more to it. Mom's of our time, kids born in the early 80's/late 70's, started moving almost completely to disposable diapers at this time, of which comfort was always big selling point. It's also this comfort that has made potty training a harder issue now, and I suspect for some of us it went further than that. Being a DL is often a fetish related specifically to the object (Diaper), we become focussed on that object and the physical components of it, and stress relief comes from obtaining that object and interacting with it. Being an AB can be much more emotional and complex. In regards to your experiences with bullying, I related to that as well.
  3. I think AB Canada is going to start focussing on the Unique Wellness line as their primary distributor and start to drop other products. I talk to the owners at AB Canada sometimes and they seem to be going that way, but not sure.
  4. Rusty Pins - That was Jenny Jones, the reason her show was taken off the air.
  5. That's cool, I've only ever seen the photo's of this event, it's neat to see the video. I wonder how I apply to be one of the models?
  6. If you guys try AB Canada, they are based in East Van right near the Burnaby boarder. Good website and great selection, you can arrange pick up too and they're usually pretty quick.
  7. As a kid many people saw my diapers as I was put in them a lot when I was younger, be it diapers, pull ups or Goodnites. As an adult I don't know if I've been exposed in public before but I do wear all the time and it's impossible to think that no one has ever noticed.
  8. That is an intense story and sad to hear. I don't like intimidation and especially when it's done at someone's home, that is classless.
  9. I can agree with those who say there aren't any decent adult diapers in stores these days. It's pretty tough finding them, that being said everytime I've bought them was exciting for me and I always looked forward to it. One exception was a time I walked out of a pharmacy carrying an old school bag of Depends and I ran into this guy from my school who beat me up on a regular basis. I was scared to death the minute I saw him and I turned and darted the other direction. Somehow he never saw me, but I remember thinking the entire weekend that I was going to get it bad when i got to school monday morning but he never said anything, luckily.
  10. I love adult diapers from this era. It was the age that got me into wearing them. For some reason I've always had more of an attraction to adult diapers than baby ones and I especially love ones from this time period. It's always a good find when someone posts pictures or advertisements from long ago up here.
  11. I'm a Unique Wellness user all the way, 24/7 all year. Great diaper and I can't live without them.
  12. I've had the "leaking accident in my pants" thing happen to me at various times in my life. It's embarrassing to say the least, but of course I also love it.
  13. Cool find, I've always thought Julia was attractive, and yes even though the diaper doesn't look that great and it's probably the usual mainstream tv abdl fair, I still liked the preview and would love to see the episode of the show, do you know which one this scene was from?
  14. I was picked on all the time in high school, and of course it was the 90's, so a few of my friends were very goth-style oriented. They knew about me wearing diapers and, yes, they were more or less accepting of it. Neither of them expressed an interest in it directly, although I did suspect one of them at one point, but I haven't seen them in years, or the bullies who used to kick my ass, thankfully.
  15. Yeah, I remember Kins. I haven't actually ordered from there before and wondered if they were still open. That's cool to hear some feedback about them because I'd never spoken to anyone that used their product before. I'd seen them in a diaper store before, Discount Diapers in Richmond, but I was there to purchase a different product and didn't get a chance to check it out. Then the store closed before I could go back.
  16. Baby Brian - In regards to how they compare to Attends/Molicare/Abena? As for Attends, I've worn these for years, like almost decades and have always enjoyed their product. How they match up to Wellness, I'd have to say Wellness is better, Attends can clump up and leak after lots of moving around, but still good. Attends are also cheaper which is a factor.
  17. Wow, that's unfortunate. As far as them being as equal as Depends Maximum, I don't if I could agree. I currently own some Depends Max and Unique Wellness and the Wellness are better. In regards to how much I drink, I'm not sure in litres but I am a truck driver and do drink quite freely. I'll admit I have had the Unique's leak, and have faulty production errors. They are a newer company so they may still have production issues to work out, and you may want to check how you're diapering yourself and make sure you're doing it right, although I'm sure you are. In regards to other diapers that I wear - Molicare quite regularly, Abena on occasion and Attends quite often. I've had all of them do the trick when on the job, and I've had all of them fail me at one point. If you are an active person who drinks a lot, a full fitted brief on it's own will fail at times, while still be successful so many other times.
  18. My mom put me into Goodnites when I was 12 for bedwetting, that was back in 1995. They were the early generation then and very evident on you when you wore them. I was also in Pull Ups when then were new when I was about 8 or 9. I liked Goodnites, of course I got my ass kicked at school for wearing them but whatever.
  19. That's weird that you guys were having problems with them, I really liked them and thought they were good quality. I only have to change twice a day, sometimes three. The only thing I don't like about them is the expense as they are a little more than other diapers.
  20. Yeah, the mandatory use of Depends or other diapers at homes is something I've been reading up on as I find it quite interesting. At many places, they confiscate the regular underwear right away and just fill the persons drawers with Depends.
  21. Just so you know, if you go on youtube, there are instructional videos from Diaper companies on how to change and apply adult diapers/briefs. Check it out, Prevail, Tena and Abena have all done them.
  22. I don't know, after years of wearing, there is a "just right" feeling that is not too thick but definitely not too thin. I've worn overly thick diapers before and for an active person like myself they can cause sores if you walk around a lot and the weather is warm, but thin diapers defeat the purpose of wearing them in the first place. Abena's and Unique Wellness are practically the perfect shape and feel, they really nailed it with those too companies.
  23. Just looking for anyone else who has a serious interest into high school style bullying. I was picked on relentlessly in high school and it left an impact on me in a lot of ways. Since then I've thought about the experiences I went through and wanted to replicate them. Although they were horrible to go through in high school, I think about them often now and how exhilarating the rush was, especially when members of the opposite sex were watching and laughing or involved.
  24. I've pretty much worn diapers to every place of employment I've ever had, and schools too. Reactions are mixed, the older I get the less people seem to notice.
