I'm pretty sure that there isn't a set age when you become a kid. To me it has always felt more like you became a kid whenever you felt you were too old to be a baby anymore.

In short, it is entirely a state of mind. If you think you're a baby, then you're a baby, but if you think you're a kid, then you're a kid.

To try to clarify, I can't drink apple juice whenever there is anyone around me. I like the taste of apple juice, it just always makes me think I'm just a young kid, a preschooler, which makes me extremely uncomfortable whenever there are others around. I don't even know why it makes me think that, since I didn't attend a preschool, and I didn't even drink apple juice that often when I was young.
