  1. It's complicated!  My father passed away 13 yrs ago and my mother lives 400+ miles away (my choice to move)

When I was in my early 20's my parents were going through a bitter divorce and they each used us (kids) like pawns against one another and I chose Mom's side.  I began to hate my father almost as much as my mother did.   After my father had finally moved out of the house, my mother turned on me and forced me to move out as well even though I was helping her with my younger siblings.

When I got married a few years later, I had to choose which parent to invite to my wedding.  Everyone said that if I invited my Father, they would boycott my wedding.  Nice, huh?  So mom got the invite and the rest of the family attended but after the wedding I mended my relationship with my dad.  Soon after, he remarried and he and his new wife moved from NJ to Florida.  I would talk to him every so often but he mostly wanted to know how my mother was doing.  I believe he still loved her and wished he could have her back.  After a few years, his wife told me to stop calling because she believed my calls were upsetting him too much.  Sadly, I complied and a year or two later, I found out that my father had passed away and she didn't have a funeral for him or tell either of his 2 sisters.

My mother on the other hand has always been a very negative person and has found fault in everything I do/have done.  She couldn't even pay me a compliment on my wedding day without getting her digs in first.  When my husband and I had the opportunity 24 yrs ago to move from NJ to NC, I jumped at the chance even though it meant leaving everyone I knew behind.  Now, I talk to my mother on the phone 2-3 times a month, visit with her once or twice a year and I can shake off her negativity so much easier from 400 miles away.  I love my mother but it is so much easier to love her from afar.

  2. If only for a day I would choose to be either a 6 month old or a 12 month old baby girl.

As a 6 mth old, I Love the idea of:

    1. being held and fed a bottle
    2. secured with straps in a high chair & spoon fed baby food
    3. strolled about in a baby carriage
    4. having no control of my bowels and bladder
    5. being bathed & changed frequently
    6. being put into nice warm jammies & placed in a crib
    7. having a pacifier to suck on all night
    8. being carried about.

As a 12 mth old, I would love:

    1. to be learning how to walk
    2. speaking in baby babble
    3. still drinking from a baby bottle & sippy cup
    4. Still having no control of bladder & bowels
    5. Still sleeping in a crib
    6. so many cute clothes to wear.
    7. having toys to play with

  3. I mostly wear diapers during the day so I am usually sitting while wetting but I can wet in just about any position (haven't tried it hanging upside down yet but that might be interesting)

I don't generally mess my diapers but on the few occasions that I have tried it, I found it easiest to be standing during the deed and "loads" of fun to sit down afterwards.

  4. Tricky question because like the Dos Equis Guy

"I don't always poop in my diaper, but when I do, I get out of it as fast as I can."

I can't say I have never messed my diaper.  I have intentionally tried it a few times but it just isn't easy for me to wrap my head around.  I also have accidentally pooped in my diaper and pretty much try to get out of that as fast as possible.

Either on purpose or by accident, I can't bring myself to stay in it very long.  Now if I had someone to FORCE me to stay in it (ie Husband and a pair of locking panties) I might find it a bit more interesting.

  5. I was home for the day watching the Sally Jesse Raphael show (Yep, that long ago before the Internet) and she had on as her guests "Adult Babies"  It amazed me because I had been wondering my whole life why I liked wearing diapers and was I the only one who wanted to dress like a baby.

Watching that show made me feel like I wasn't really a freak.  That there were others out there that thought like I did.  It wasn't until years later that I found DPF and after they closed, I found DailyDiapers.

Over the years I have upped my diaper wearing, my wardrobe and started buying better diapers.  I've created a few of my own baby accessories but still don't have the support of my husband.

I don't do #2 in diaper and mostly its easy to pull down diaper and back up again

That's what I do too.  Slip it down like undies, do my business than pull it back up.  Also helps if you use reasonable tabs.

  7. A stroller that could accommodate my adult body.

Baby shoes like the old white leather walking shoes,

a crib that can be transformed into a regular bed so I can easily hide it when not in use.

    A high chair

    Car seat

    Cradle

  8. Found these body suits in my local Target and couldn't help from thinking of them as adult onesies. They are in the women's department and go up to a women's xxl.
