Hey Sarah! I mostly lurk around here because I don't really have the time or energy to keep up with this a lot. However, ts occasionally fun to come by here to see what's going on. I've tried numerous times to join these groups and I get no reply or help of any kind. I just moved back to AZ from MI and I want to make an attempt at meeting some locals in AZ.

The cold is weird that way. I was in MI and it was -33 or something absurdly low below zero temperature, and it is a deceptive cold. I was outside in a short sleeved shirt and jeans, with a hoodie on, and you really don't even notice the cold until you can't feel your extremities. I can see how people get frostbite without even knowing. But ya, the cold doesn't really bother me at all. I kinda like it. I'm going from one weather extreme (125+ degree temperatues in AZ) to another (-33 w/the windchill?)

Does anyone on here have AIM or Yahoo? It would be nice to talk to some people in the same state. Arizona had next to no one and it was a pretty solitary feeling.

Ya, I visited in SPRING, and it was in the -40s one day with the windchill. Eeek!

I'm moving to Michigan soon myself. I'm pretty nervous about it, especially coming from Arizona. Its really hot out here, and moving to a place where its easily below zero is kinda intimidating. Good luck with your boredom thing though. I don't have that issue cause I work all the time. BTW, where in Michigan are you at? I'm in nothern Michigan around the Traverse City area.
