I was potty trained by the age of 2.5 (which I didn't like too much). When I was 4.5 I asked to be put back in diapers. First mom said 'no' but I eventually wore her down and was put back in diapers 24/7, which I stayed in until I was nearly 7...and I loved every minute of it.

I was dry day and night by the time I was 2.5 but volentarily returned to diapers 24/7 when I was 4.5 and remained diapered until I was nearly 7. I started wetting the bed when I was 8 but I covered it up for a while (wearing diapers I got myself) but I ran out of diapers and eventually my mom found out. After a few weeks of frequent but not nightly bed wetting I was threatened with diapers several times but even with continued wettings nothing happened. So in an effort to force the issue I began wetting my pants and after the second time wetting at school (and 4th pants wetting in total) I was put back in Pampers 24/7 until I was nearly 12. After that I continued to wear them on my own.

Am I addicted to diapers: I'd have to say yes in that since returning to them at 4.5 years old there has not been a single year that has gone by that I haven't worn at least 1 diaper. When I was younger (in my early teens I tried to quit wearing diapers several times unsuccessfully but inevitably returned to the diaper's warm embrace. It wasn't until I was in my mid 20's that I became truly comfortable with this aspect of my personality and thereby with my diaper usage.

My first time buying diapers: I was 8 and had saved money from my paper route. As soon as school let out I rode my bike to the grocery store choosing to ignore the feeling of my full bladder. I went to the aisle where the diapers were and picked up a box of Pampers toddler diapers. I brought them up to the till with my heart racing paid for them and left the store. I put the box of diapers in the paper carrier of my bike and was about to get on my bike when I noticed that I had wet myself a little with the excitement. I rode home desperate to pee and as I turned onto my block and was about to breathe a sigh of relief fate threw me a curve-ball. My next door neighbor was in front of her house watering her flowers and as I rode up she came over to talk to me. As she talked I could feel my bladder control lessen with every passing word, I wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying, I was focusing all my effort to not pee my pants but my concentration was broken when it registered that she had said, "Here comes your mom," and as mom pulled up and right in front of my neighbor I started pissing my pants and couldn't stop. Finding me pissing my pants and in possession of a box of Pampers that I had bought myself mom decreed that I would wear diapers 24/7 for the next 2 years.

I agree...and I'm really getting annoyed at people calling them 'diapers'. In my opinion diapers have to be fastened around the waist, be it with pins or tapes or whatever otherwise it's just some form of absorbent underwear and NOT a diaper.

I was 'patted' down by a (thankfully female) police officer moments after wetting my diaper. I warned her when she started that I was wearing a diaper but didn't tell her that I was wet. To make matters worse she insisted that I drop my pants (I guess to confirm that it was a diaper I was wearing) exposing my wet diaper to my girlfriend (who already knew I wore) and her partner. Then the officers decided that they were going to impound my car so I had to open the trunk and load my diaper bag in front of them. Then before they 'graciously' offered me a lift to the impound lot they insisted that I change into a dry diaper (not that it was dry by the time we got to the impound lot) before they'd let me in their cruiser. So I had to change my diaper behind a bush with my girlfriend and 2 female cops less than 4 feet from me.

Am I in control? Yes I believe I am, as I have been into this since I was 4 and although there have been periods in my life (years) where I have worn diapers 24/7 I did so because it was what I wanted to do and afterwards I have gone back to wearing them occasionally. As for "Could I quit anytime I wanted to?" I'd definitely have to give that one a resoundingly negative. I have tried several times in the past (mostly before I knew about the AB/DL community and thought I was alone and insane) but every time I got rid of my diapers and supplies the desire would always return and eventually I'd end up in diapers again. So I finally decided to quit quitting and accept the fact that I would never give up my diapers.

I'm not to sure I agree. I did spend quality time with my parents when I was little and stayed in diapers till I was 4 when I was potty trained but no more than 6 months later I begged to be returned to diapers, which I wore 24/7 for the next 3 years and to bed for 2 more years after that and then once I became a teenager all bets were off swwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ssssssssssssssssssssssssssd

I wear diapers to the casino all the time in fact I rarely go to the casino without wearing a diaper (largely because I don't go anywhere without wearing a diaper as I wear them almost constantly.
