  1. The first person I told was my now-ex girlfriend (long story, not related to the diapers). I left a note on her keyboard as she normally checked her email in the morning. Of course that was the one day that she didn't. I almost called it off at that point. I tried again the next day, leaving it somewhere she'd be sure to find it. It worked out well, we were together for another 3 1/2 years. My current girlfriend I told directly. It wasn't easy, as I'd only been dating her for a few weeks at that point. We'd been talking over MSN for a few months before we got together, face to face, though. I was very worried that she wouldn't be accepting of it, but she's very supportive. She'll wear diapers voluntarily and has even changed me a few times. Neither of them has ever said anything to their friends. Tell your partner about your desires is definitely something you need to have trust in your partner for, but I've had very good experiences so far. My first girlfriend was worried that I was breaking up with her after reading the first half of the note, and then got to the second part and was very relieved that it was something she could deal with and help me through. My current girlfriend, as I said, has been very supportive as well. I met both of these people in the old fashioned way, though, I'm really terrible at meeting people so, in both cases, they kinda found me. My first girlfriend was the high-school sweetheart, and, strangely, she set me up with my current girlfriend a few months after we broke up. It helped that my current girlfriend has a few kinks of her own so she's definitely not a prude.
  2. My Girlfriend and ex both know. I've gotten strange looks from roomies as well. Turns out footies don't mask the rustle very well.
  3. While this may be a bit overt for some of us, there's been an abdl pride flag proposed here: ABDL Pride Flag. I know, personally, it's a bit too obvious for my comfort, but I'm not even interested in wearing the leather or BDSM pride flags in general public. The advantage of the flag is that its essentially impossible to mistake for something else. I suppose I would wear one to events where a certain level of understanding and respect would be expected. I've also seen a second pride logo that was targeted more at the age players: Age Player Pride Flag. I know diaper pins have been proposed in the past, not only here but elsewhere as well. Heck I've seen a whole "hanky code" with different colored caps. People who would wear a safety pin solely for fashion are probably going to stand out as such, and, as it has been pointed out earlier in the thread, it's probably going to be a safety pin. Of course, some of us may dress in the Goth/Punk/Industrial style anyways, I know I do.
  4. I used cloth (folded flannel bedsheet) when I was just starting to explore, but disposables seem so much more practical now... I wore dispoables as a baby and during my bedwetting years so that might explain that. I prefer to be discreet when in public as well.
  5. When I was much younger, my parents made me a Jack O' Lantern costume. It was paper mache and covered my entire body. I couldn't walk up stairs to ring doorbells so I ended up calling "trick or treat" from the bottom of the steps. Almost everyone loved it and rushed down the steps with candy.
  6. Hello everyone I'm a 23 year old DL with more than a little bit of a kinky side. I'm going to be moving down the the bay area in the next few days (I hope... long story). I'm a software engineer by trade so I'll be working in the valley. Just wanted to say hi to everyone.
