Just shows you're never too old to discover the joy of nappies! I think so many adults would find them pleasurable if only they gave them a try. We all start our lives relieving ourselves in our pants without a care in the world, unfortunately there's a time shortly afterwards when we're taught that it's not the done thing, and that influences attitudes going forwards. But it's one of life's simplest pleasures and everyone should have the chance to enjoy it!

Just wanted to give a shout out that I had great sex with my wife for pretty much the first time since I have been 24/7. I wore my diapers during foreplay and we did some 69 action and she was rubbing my diaper the whole time. She also stuck her face in my diapers! Then I took off the dip and... it was great! ? We haven't had much sex leading up to me going 24/7 due to injuries she sustained during birthing our youngest child. She's had a bunch of therapy and we finally found some lube that works. Just feeling thankful and wanted to share, especially because it can be tough to be an adult in diapers and also have a great sex life. Hopefully this will give other's some encouragement.
Has she ever worn a diaper (as an adult!) herself?

There's probably one for people with disabilities in general, which incontinence qualifies as (though if it's self-inflicted incontinence, it raises certain ethical questions).

I do keep wanting to wade into this thread as prehaps a lone female commenting. I find the suggestion that women shouldn't bother being potty trained quite bizarre and show a complete lack of understanding about the lived experience of menstruation and women's lives in general.
Apologies, it was a tongue-in-cheek remark (at least on my part, anyway) in reference to the fact that women have to wear absorbent products for a large part of their lives. Nobody's seriously suggesting it as a real world course of action.

In agreement with @Alyeskabird since females are used to dealing with a pad every 21-40 days (28 days) since puberty (age 8-14), the actual time out of diapers of some kind as compared to males is very little. Birth to 2.5 years (2.5 years in diapers); 8/9 years old to 40 year old (+30 years in diapers every 28 days for 2-7 days)
I think most women keep having periods up to around age 50, so that's another decade to add on... and after that (if not before), there's a high likelihood of incontinence and a return to diapers. So yeah... why are women even potty-trained?

@nappylover78 it's definitely a problem if you're 24/7 like me. 4 to 5 nappies a day, every day soon mounts up to A LOT of heavy wet nappies! I'm dealing it with it (for now) by always taking a couple out with me when I go out somewhere in the car or when I walk the dog and dump them in public bins. If I can dispose of 2 or 3 every day it makes a huge difference to the weight of the bin at home. The downside to this is that it's a very time consuming faff to have to plan this out - plus the weirdness of what I'm doing isn't lost on me.
I could take a bag of them once a week to the local refuse site like you suggest but it's a fair old journey for me (about 20 mile round trip) so again, it's not really a sustainable solution and one I don't really have time for either.
Yeah, I'm lucky that mine is just around the corner I guess...

I've been 24/7 in nappies now for over a year but to be honest, I think it's way easier than dealing with periods. Periods can be so unpredictable and a bloodied bed or trousers is a lot more horrid than pee (I'm only UI not both). Periods and menopause can also can be very painful.
I do agree with you that women are far more used to having to deal with their bodies in the way IC means you have to. We're used to having to be organised with supplies, find changing places etc. And if you've gone through childbirth and regular smear tests, you've also lost all inhibition about your genitalia been poked and prodded by health care workers!
Yeah, given that fact it's perhaps a bit surprising that more women don't accept wearing nappies!

I don't wear nappies 24/7 but have been concerned about this issue since the general waste collection moved to three-weekly, as that can be a lot of nappies depending on my frequency of wearing (sometimes it's mainly at night, other times I have a binge of wearing nearly all the time, when I'm not at work or working from home).
I can generally fit three weeks' worth of nappies in my regular bin but have concerns about it being too heavy. They don't appear to offer a separate nappy/incontinence product collection service, though even if they did there would be the discretion factor as described by the original poster!
Of course, your local tip/recycling centre will take excess general household waste. I've disposed of the odd sack of nappies there when I'm worried about my bin getting too full/heavy!

I suspect quite a lot of people who haven't actually considered the idea would find the act of wetting a nappy as an adult surprisingly pleasurable, if they happened to experience it.

Yeah, it is an interesting parallel... maybe in a way it makes women less uncomfortable about wearing bladder protection than men, but even so, they mostly seem averse to the idea of wearing a "diaper"/"nappy"...

Having kids.
You mean it broke your bladder? Or you just found it more convenient afterwards?

Wouldn't want to be incontinent long-term, but wish there was a way to safely experience it for a day or so!

I have carried a crinklz down the aisle of an aeroplane before now and if anyone noticed there was no reaction. I too went to the toilets after a flight at HK airport and heard the tearing of the tapes and the crinkle of a new nappy being put on in the next cubicle. I’m beginning to think most people are in nappies!!!!!!!!
People are obviously realising it's a sensible choice in a lot of situations!

Women can wear anything they want under skirts and all sorts of long blablabla. The fashion industry clearly works in their favour. The right question probably concentrates on fashion rather than any diaper under fashion.
The fashion industry clearly knows a lot of women are in nappies

If the nappy is fitted right, there shouldn't be an "inch or two drop" when you wet it. It shouldn't be excessively tight, as it needs some room to absorb, but you should have that nice running water feeling around your intimate area as you let it flow!
-
As long as you've got mattress protection, which most nappy wearers will have, just answer nature's call in your warm comfortable bed, trust your nappy to take care of it, and if it doesn't quite manage it, let the mattress protector do its job!
-
How do you find partners/potential partners react when you tell them that you wear nappies, or when they actually come into contact with your nappy for the first time?
-
Yeah, a huge advantage of wearing a diaper is always having a restroom in your pants...

That's true. It probably doesn't make much sense to try unless you really want to commit to it permanently. I suspect most like the idea of it but not the commitment. It doesn't really bother me whether I end up wetting in my sleep or not - I'll be in a nappy anyway.
Exactly... wetting your nappy in bed feels so good that I'd rather be awake to enjoy it anyway!

I could still clench my external urinary sphinicter, and hold it for a few seconds before it relaxed. Using this technique I was able to go about 2 hours from first feeling some pressure in my bladder to not being able to stop it from starting to empty. I would have to equate my bladder control during the trip to that of a toddler. If I went to the potty when I felt the need I would not have an 'accident', but if I didn't, and also whilst I slept, I would end up wetting my nappy.
Sounds like quite a nice level of incontinence to have. I wish there was a way to just experience it for a day or so!

It varies, I've certainly had more opportunity to wear but my desire to do so has been up and down. Wearing quite a lot at the moment though.

Like it says on the tin of my profile I'd like to be female about 10 years older than I am currently. I was influenced by two wonderful maternal figures when I was a child and I later deduced they were both incontinent. I'd like the joy of being a nurturing figure but also feeling slightly helpless due to my weakened bladder control. A day is too short though. Maybe like a month or two?
How did you work out these ladies were incontinent? Did you find out if they wore diapers?
-
Definitely... the feel of putting on a fresh dry nappy, that first substantial wetting in it, the warm bulkines when you've done it, and the smell of a freshly wet nappy.
Very turned on by women wearing nappies as well as wearing them myself. Haven't been in any genuinely intimate situations but I've been around others wearing before, and obviously love all the online content.

Ladies incontinence protection before Tena Lady
in Incontinence - Medical

I guess it would have been thick sanitary pads for light leakage, and for those with more severe incontinence (which must have been common, and less treatable, back then) it would have been adult-sized terry nappies and plastic/rubber pants ordered from medical supply catalogues. It wouldn't have been a happy existence, with rashes, smelling of urine and the obvious bulk of the nappies, so many of said women would probably have rarely left the home.
