  1. I love the chapter and the story with the spy kids. Jackson's reaction is also realistic, especially for boys his age. In a way, it also proves her mother's point about not making her wear diapers. They are associated with babies and the parents want to avoid treating her like one at all costs. But what about Grace? Maybe she secretly likes diapers too? Is drawing a nappy girl her hidden art project? We are going to find out!
  2. I really enjoy the way this story is developing and how you cover Jon's path of adopting to his new life. It is a wonderful mommy-little relationship, lovely to read and really a feel-good story. Thanks for your hard work.
  3. I really like the development of this story. From personal experience, I fully understand that the D-word is a big no-no that parents will try to avoid. Maddy could be more pushy with the doctor, asking about all the options available. Pull-ups should be one of them. She will certainly need to avoid the pills. Headaches etc. seem to be a good way and easy to simulate. If I were her, I would also push much harder on how tired the wetting makes her. Getting up at night etc. She needs to work towards a solution that allows her to sleep through the night without making her sick.
  4. Thanks for the update! Really love the story. Will be interesting to see what happens next! I also hope you are doing better. Health always needs to come first...
  5. Hi @Kat5, I was wondering if you can give an update on when to expect the next part... don't want to push, I am just curious. Thanks
  6. It is so good to see you back and to see one of my favorite stories continues. I loved how you added the Monchi view here for continuity. Please keep going!
  7. I would love to contribute to the discussion. A suggestion would be to keep some sort of inventory in the top post, as there are several really good stories out there.
  8. Wow, what a journey! I am glad that you managed to end the story the way you did. It really was an emotional roller-coaster with a strong plot, great writing style and lovely characters. Thank you for all your efforts and hard work that went into this. And thank you for sharing this with us.
  9. No worries, I am a bit jealous of people who are creative and manage to finish beautiful literature. I am more of an editor / lector kind of person that likes to help the authors on their way. Looking forward to more chapters.
  10. Every once in a while you come across a hidden story treasure. This has the potential to become one of them. I really enjoy your style. The story is written very well and your characters are good. I do have some concerns on the plot though. It is very hard to anticipate where this story is going. The hospital visit, the relationship between the two girls, swimming... quite a lot of loose ends at the moment and you should start to give it a bit more direction. You are at chapter 37 already and it is hard to talk about the main plot. Another concern: It is hard to believe that Kenzie wets the bed almost every night and they just accept it. No protection but a waterproof sheet? Hmm... So in summary: Great start into a story. 3 good protagonist. Good potential to develop. Spend a bit of time on the plot and streamline your storytelling. Looking forward to seeing more!
  11. @MinnesotaWriter, this chapter had me in tears. Really well written and nicely wrapping up the loose ends. I was wondering what CPS would tell Lisa's uncle and aunt. Do they know the details? How many more chapters can we expect?
  12. Haha, I just love the rivalry between these 2 teams. But as a former exchange student in Green Bay I feel differently about the Packers I do feel really sorry for Kirk though. He won a lot of sympathy with the Netflix documentary. Really nice guy... what do you think will happen to him? Free agent this year, right?
  13. Thank you so much! Really glad about CPS now being involved. My guess: It was Emilia. I can imagine her talking about her sister at daycare and telling the adults how her older sister is just a baby in diapers that stays home alone.
  14. @MinnesotaWriter, you have managed to create a very unique piece of art. It is one of the few stories that makes me sad and angry at the same time, that I actually had to pause reading because I was so mad, and still manages to be one of my favourite stories. It is a fantastic piece of work that I hope you will bring to a proper conclusion. Please keep up the good work and I am really looking forward to seeing how it all ends.
